Volunteer
I traveled to NO to volunteer, so I choose this hotel based on reviews. Happy I did, the free breakfast was good different selections. Valet was pricey however I found parking on the street directly across from the hotel some of my days there. The staff was friendly especially the concierge both day and night person. I arrived a little earlier than expected and had to wait a approx an hour for early check-in. The room was clean, bed very cozy. I will definitely stay there again.

If you are looking for some tasty oysters, don't stand in line at Acme...WALK right in to Felix's (across street) on Iberville. You won't be disappointed. Good vibe and awesome food.

Country Inn/Suites in New orleans, LA
This is a very clean, friendly hotet with very helpful, friendly personnel ready to make your stay pleasant. They were helpful and we loved having a container of fresh cookies and coffee available when we returned from our journeys around New Orleans. Rooms were very comfortable and bed was comfortable. Plenty of hot water for showers in the morning and wake-up calls were important so appreciated that. I loved the old building and how they fixed them up in the decor. The luggage was stored until our room was ready and they certainly made our stay there extremely pleasant. They also provided a 'snack' breakfast bag for us when we had to leave for the apriport so early in the morning. BRAVO to them!

wonderful experience
A friend and I went to New Orleans for a conference and chose this hotel over the ones right next to the convention center. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to the convention center, and the location is much more central overall. Canal St. is 2 blocks away, and the heart of the french quarter is about a 15 minute walk. I chose the hotel for the 24 hour cookies and free wifi, but the breakfast turned out to be my favorite part. They have a free breakfast every morning that has the classic cereals, yogurts, oatmeal, breads, but also has a different hot dish every day that usually includes some type of egg, meat, and potatoes. They also have granola bars, and 24-hr coffee available. This saved us a lot of money. The hotel is extremely cute and cozy, and it's also old-fashioned. If you have any mobility problems, make sure you get on the first floor because the elevators are slow and inconvenient, and the rest of the floors have additional stairways along the hallways. We had originally booked a single king room, but they were very nice about switching us to two queen beds, which gives you a much bigger room. If you're looking to explore many parts of the city, this is a great location, and a great experience.

Dining in the French Quarter is expensive. It's a much better bet to head towards the Warehouse District. And if you want to stick to entrees under $20, stick to the single $ on Yelp.

Ideally located for the touris
This hotel was literally "carved" out of a number of warehouse type buildings close to the French Quarter. The architects preserved the historic appearances while building in modern comforts. "The lobby is stunning and the room we stayed in, while small by today's standards, was nicely furnished and very comfortable. "The staff was exceptional in the services they provided. The hotel is an easy walk to the aquarium, the river and the highlights of the Frencfh Quarter. If I go to New Orleans again, I would insist that we stay at this hotel.

Great motel for French quarter
Has a great breakfast. Within walking distance of everything. Only downfall was the shower. Water would only get Luke warm. No hot showers. Other than that it was a great stay and a great price!!
