We went for Halloween not really expecting much from the room but wow! The room was huge! Four post king size bed, balcony, and quiet. The hotel was beautiful and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. It was a wonderful experience and we'll be coming back soon!

Bienville House Hotel
We were 6 in our group and had three rooms. Each room was an upgrade from what I booked. I think because we were late in checking in they only had the better rooms left so we got better rooms then what we paid for. The staff was great and so friendly, but that is the south. I know because I am from La and that is how we treat guest. The restaurant was a gold mind of a find. Not on any best eatery list and the food there was just as good as other places that we went to that cost twice as much.

Great for a girls weekend.
My friends and I stayed at this hotel for a girl weekend. We really enjoyed this hotels proximity to the French Quarter and other major New Orleans attractions. The staff was very accomedating and friendly. The hotel is beautifully decorated and the rooms were a good size. They offer a nice continental breakfast, free wifi, and you can print you boarding passes free of charge too. They also had cookies and lemonade in the lobby mid-day. I really don't think you could ask for anything more when staying in New Orleans for the price. I would definetly stay at this hotel again.

Stunning Oasis of Calm
Only had one night booked before our trip to New Orleans but had the most beautiful delux king room on the 3rd floor. After moving down town for two nights, we were delighted to return to the Bienville hotel for a further four nights where we were upgraded to a really great room with the most stunning roof top garden on the fourth floor. Really loved this hotel and the location is great.

Great location
Would highly recommend Bienville House Hotel, Decatur St, New Orleans. The location, 3 blocks off Canal St, in the French Quarter, is ideal for restaurants, shopping, etc. Decatur is a busy street but we heard no street noise in the room. Good continental breakfast in morning. Friendly staff.

This hotel was just perfect! This was my first time in New Orleans and we went during Mardi Gras. This hotel was walking distance to everything. It was in a prime location but still quiet enough. Rooms were nice and a good size. Staff was really nice and helpful!!!

Good but not great
Great location for walking to the waterfront and close to several good restaurants. The personnel were friendly and helpful but the room we had was small with a non opening window. The hotel is located next to a fire station that received several calls during our stay. on the whole a pleasant stay but not remarkable.

Eat at the Evangeline Restaurant located next to the hotel. One of the best steaks I have eaten in a long time and we had just eaten at one of the highest rated steak houses in New Orleans. Evangeline beat that steak house hands down!

Weekend at Bienville House Hotel
When we checked in we found the standard room we had reserved to be without any windows making it dark and stuffy. The desk clerk indicated no other rooms were available at the time but if we would go have lunch and come back in 2 hrs she would have another room available. The new room was very nice and well worth the $25 a day additional charge. The location in the French Quarter was close to everything without being too noisy, a plus for us. The staff was very nice and did their best to assure a pleasant stay.
