BEST WESTERN PLUS St. Christopher Hotel

This hotel was great for the money and location.. The staff was very friendly from front desk to housekeeping.. I would definitely stay here again... however when booking through Orbitz, you are not guaranteed a room with a window... You get an interior corridor room.. make sure this is what you want before booking. Also, the continental breakfast is not worth the effort of making the trip downstairs.. cheese squares, a few danishes, soggy cereal... The only part I liked was the fresh waffles and fresh fruit. No Laundry services... It Was raining the whole time we were there and could not dry our clothes anywhere within walking distance..

We took a spur of the moment trip to New Orleans. We found the hotel on a pet friendly website. We have a small pom & chihuahua and thought it would be a great trip. Very close to French Quarter but it quiet! You pull up to the front of the hotel, unload and then they park your car (and deal with the downtown traffic). The disappointment was the lack of ANY grass for the pups around the hotel. We ended up dropping them off at pet paradise (great facility and staff!) but the hotel was great and exceeded our expectations.

We arrived late (around 12:30 am) and the front desk clerk was very nice. He called for the valet to get our car while he was checking me in and the valet got there before he was finished so there was no delay at all. The hotel is perfectly located! Close to the french quarter (we walked everywhere) but far enough away so you can escape the hustle and bustle when you are ready to sleep. Harrah's is around the block too if you are in the mood to gamble. The rooms were super clean and we loved the beds...very comfortable! The hotel is in an historic building and they did a nice job with keeping it modern and clean while keeping some historic touches like the exposed brick. They have wifi in the room but we didn't need it so I can't comment on that. The only con for me was the "breakfast". Items were poorly stocked (ran out of milk, paper plates, napkins, etc. by 8 am) and the coffee was not made. Also, be prepared to pay for valet as there is no other option at the hotel. We did not investigate street parking and left our car with the valet the whole weekend as we walked. I would definitely book this hotel again!

Great! All the furniture and bedroom furnishing appeared new and/or well maintained. Great value, and for the location, it was perfect. Right next to the French Quarter, without the noise, dirtiness, and craziness of it.

Friendly Valet service. Front Desk ok at first, but then got friendlier. Nicely done remodel of old building (exposed brick, etc.). Big bathroom. Nice Continental breakfast. Good location.

We have stayed at the St. Christopher's a number fo times, and have always had a very pleasant stay. The staff is very friendly.

This hotel is very nice and very close to Canal St or a St. Charles streetcar. We have a baby with us and everything was in reasonable walking distance to both adult and kid friendly areas.

Hotel location is great. Everything in the French Quarter is in walking distance...esp Bourbon street. Good bfast spot next door and a late nite food spot one block up to the left. Look for the 'Open' sign. The early staff was very kool. I arrived at 5pm on Sat. and the young lady was super nice. The young lady that works the night shift needs an attitude adjustment. She is def. in the wrong line of work. She doesn't seem to like her job and dismisses people quickly. The continental bfast looked average. Oh...there's a bar where you get a couple drinks half off. New Orleans makes up for any hotel short comings. The free internet was better than average but my room didn't have a window so I guess if you want one you need to request bfore your arrival.

Traveled last minute. Location was great for the sites we wanted to see. Located right off of canal.
