BEST WESTERN PLUS St. Christopher Hotel

I loved my room and the closeness to Bourbon worked out perfectly for the Bayou Classic. It was clean, up to date and provided the total New Orleans atmosphere.

One staff person in particular was very rude. She never said hello or goodbye and almost bumped me, passing me to get to the elevator. The room was musty smelling but the room was very spacious. Someone needs so charm school.

Really friendly staff, giving you details of where to go/not go, good places to eat etc. The room was spacious, and no problems with internet. I could not have asked for more for the money. I would certainly recommend it to my friends.

As far as location goes, this is very convenient to the downtown/FQ experience. A standard, clean, no-frills hotel with decent Wi-fi and a bare bones complimentary breakfast. Rooms are clean (though I was put into a smoking-allowed room for my last minute booking), but a bit noisy.

In town for the night. First time at the hotel. Everything went great. Staff was helpful. Nice place; great location, great value.

This location worked out well to be able to walk to many of the famous places in New Orleans. However, no where on this website or the hotel website (except in the reviews), was there mention of rooms with no windows. Buyer beware. Also, there is a continental breakfast available, however, no additional food or beverage service after 10am. For the price, the only real advantage of this hotel is the location.

PAY FOR YOUR OWN PARKING $20 +++ CHECKED IN EARLY (thank you)+++ I dropped a baby bottle between the bed and table got it back with pub ic hair on it and found toe nail clipping on the box spring. jacuzi tub in bad repair had plunger on chain for the drain plug and discoloration or apperance of mold in or on jets

Very small room. No window. Smelled a little like mold. But, it was also the cheapest option that we went with, so it's hard to be too angry. We were a bunch of guys going to a weekend. Location was fine, biggest gripe was the size of the room. Didn't realize how small it was going to be. So small, that there were two double beds instead of the standard queen beds. Also can't be too angry, they didn't hide the fact the beds were also small, I just didn't realize it. You can tell it was a private hotel bought my best western. No hotel bar, terrible breakfast, so-so staff. If we had to do it all over again, we'd book the mariott across the street for the extra money,

We had a great time at St. Christopher! I had researched nearly every other hotel in and around the French Quarter, but none came close to St. Christopher in terms of amenities and value. We got a safe, fridge, Jacuzzi bath, free wireless internet, a quiet room, and free continental breakfast at a fraction of the cost compared to other hotels with similar amenities. Some people may prefer being in the thick of the French Quarter, but St. Christopher is a half-block from the Quarter and doesn't have half the noise, smell, or scofflaws walking about. The front desk folks were very friendly, helpful and had great suggestions. They even stowed our luggage for free for a couple hours nearly a week after we checked out and had gotten back to New Orleans after our cruise!

For the location & price, room and staff quality- this place is great! They do take a $30/night hold on your card for incidentals &c which is refunded after your stay, so keep that in mind if you use a debit card. If you're looking for a clean, convenient no-frills hotel with a great location and solid service, this place is it. It's literally across Canal St. from the French Quarter. Our room didn't have the "whirlpool tub" as indicated on the reservation but we did have a west-facing room with huge windows on the 8th floor. Great view, and we didn't miss the tub at all- wake up, shower, and hit the town!
