Demand a garden Room!
Our room faced Rampart St. ...we had the normal busy road sounds, cars, trucks, occasional siren...but OH MY! the trash is picked up between Midnight and 3:30 AM...every night! The racket was unbelievable!! That said the staff was very friendly, but couldn't help as the hotel was sold out...

redecorated/updated room. Location is a minus.
The employees were exceptional. The room has been updated, even though somewhat small, was very nice. I can't say enough about the staff; very friendly and helpful in every way. The breakfast was over and above the usual "breakfast included" fare; scrambled eggs, and either bacon or sausage, cereal, juices, assorted breads, etc. The most moist, delicious cream cheese danish I've ever eaten. Now, however, for the negative; the location. It is on the very edge of the French Quarters, and not in the most desirable of areas. It is a long, brisk walk to the heart of the "Quarters", and a little frightening if you are returning to the hotel after dark. If you do not have your own vehicle, I would recommend taking a taxi. If it is a busy time, getting a taxi back to the hotel is not always easy. There is on-site parking with a charge. If you are in N.O. and plan to take a vehicle everywhere other than the Quarters, you will find this hotel to be just fine.

Long walk from hotel
Make reservations for breakfast at Brennans. Very, very, pricey, but worth every penny. Make it for brunch and you won't have to eat the rest of the day. A very special experience. For the ladies, make sure you visit with Mary in the "ladies room". She has been there for 42 years. She's a sweet-heart. If you are the friendly type, you will love meeting her.

Honeymoon
The hotel was nice and clean. Friendly people. It did not have a jacuzzi however which was a request that we had made. It showed under activities. When we called on this we were told that there was 2 jacuzzi tubs. We spent an hour and a half on the phone with you. You were not customer service friendly in the hotel reservations and I would never book through them again. We were on our honeymoon and the jacuzz waa something we really wanted.

Lovely stay
Nice walk to Bourbon Street and beyond but hotel on quiet street. Only problem was the surprise parking cost of $22.40.

Perfect first NOLA visit with French Quarter ambiance
Located walking distance to all that the French Quarter has to offer. The central courtyard with pool and patio tables surrounded by tropical garden plants and New Orleans architecture was perfect for relaxing after a busy day or sharing a take-out meal. Continental breakfast was pretty good. On-site bar is convenient. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Suite was nice
We stayed in a suite. The room was clean and well maintained. The housekeeping service was good but not excellent, we had to call for new towels and a few other basic items. The breakfast was decent but service ended a little early it seemed (9). The courtyard was very nice and overall it was a very nice hotel.

Best Western Plus-New Orleans
Worth the cost. Staff was excellent. Room was Fine and location was excellent; three blocks from Burbon Street which is three blocks from Decatur Street. Two blocks over and about three blocks down from Frenchmen Street. Buffet breakfast was fitting for someone who wants to eat and get going or simply take your meal to the court yard and enjoy a delightful meal under the palm tress or poolside. The staff is the type that if you want or need something they will bring it to you and if they do not have it, they will go and get it.
