I wish I were in New Orleans
Southern luxury for low price
Great location in Garden district - on Charles Street, close to French Quater. There's a streetcar stop right in front of the hotel, so you can move around the city centre faster. Lovely, luxurious in Louisiana style, small and quiet. You feel like you live in Garden district of nineteenth century. Rooms of average size, beautiful and convenient. Free breakfast every moment - delicious bakery. We want to stay there again.

Don't stay there!!
That was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. There was no internet access (broken and was never fixed) even though it is advertised as complimentary. Dirty hotel and area. It is noisy as well.

Comfy, Personable, Great Location
We enjoyed our stay at this sweet, cozy inn. The staff was helpful, the location fantastic and the internet was always available. We also used their parking garage which worked very well. Be sure to try Lydia's pumpkin coffee cake! There was also a fitness center across the street that we used.

Typical Old Nawlins
Hotel is in the Garden district, right on the St. Charles trolley line. Staff was freindly, but the room that we stayed in was less than great. I understand old New Orleans is everywhere but DANG this place needs some simple updating. Its a shame that this hotel has such good bones and is being ruined by lack of upkeep. Think i would spend a little more and skip this one until its remodeled.

Avenue Garden Hotel
Friendly owner, interesting layout, helpful with requests. Sits right on the St. Charles street car line. Not a full service hotel, so you're not going to hang out there, but a great base of operations.

Great weekend getaway.
Spent the night in New Orleans to enjoy and concert. Hotel is in a great location, just a few feet from the street car stop. Many restaurants around for you dining pleasure. Rooms were a little small but hotel was very nice, almost like a bed and breakfast type atmosphere.

Wonderful little hotel
The hotel was very cozy, warm and inviting. The staff was great. Where it lacked in some amenities it made up in charm. Nice area to stay the night. Lots of dining choices.
