Leak in the roof
Accidentally chose the smoking room....stunk to high heaven (did not know you could still smoke in a hotel room). Roof also leaked when it started raining. Got another room but it was smoking also...breakfast was free but not very appetizing...good restaraunts in the area though.

DAYS INN, NEW IBERIA
PROFESSIONAL, COURTEOUS, HELPFUL MANAGEMENT AND STAFF. ASKED FOR LOCAL DIRECTIONS, THEY PRODUCED A MAPQUEST TO MY DESTINATION. EARLY BREAKFAST, EVEN ON SUNDAY, MADE GETTING AN EARLY START HOME EASY, CONVENIENT AND FILLING. RECOMMEND THE BISCUITS, SAUSAGE AND GRAVY. BOTTOM LINE, I WILL STAY THERE ON FUTURE TRIPS.

I ASKED THE MANAGER FOR A SEAFOOD RECOMMENDATION. HE ADVISED "LANDRY'S". THEY HAD A LIVE ZYDECO BAND ON SATURDAY NIGHT.

We went to a nearby festival, so the location was great, The room was very clean and comfortable, a little pricey for the area I thought. But the overall stay was very pleasant.

Great the price as well as the location
It was delightful to be there. The service was great and the location was good. We had a good time the continental breakfast was a great asset. Not use to having sasauge or eggs at a hotel was great. Will keep the hotel if i ever have to go back again.

My review of Days Inn and Suites New Iberia
Days Inn is a much newer hotel in New Iberia but the upkeep is not as good as the Comfort Suites. There is no elevator for the heavy bags. The breakfast bar is nice and more than I expected.

Chili's is in front of the hotel. Also, there is a Waffle House next door.

My phone didn't work but the staff was able to come fix it. I was told we could not have but 2 xtra towels which meant the pool towel was also my shower towel and the pool was full of bugs and cigerette butts. The best thing about this trip was that I didn't spend much time in my room or bring very many clothes to get smelled up by smoke. I was also told it was a new hotel but the wear of the carpet and decor says otherwise. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The rip van winkle bed and breakfast is a much better option.

Ruby Tuesday. The food was wonderful. I loved the crab cakes and the kids said the mini burgers were great. It was a nice ending to my trip.

Was very satisfied..The Staff on duty at time of check in was appsolutely wonderful...very friendly and very helpful.... will stay there again...I forgot my cell phone and they were so friendly to have it ready for me to pick it up...I have to say I felt very welcomed by the night and day management...
