the good, the bad and the very ugly

My family and I stayed at this hotel April 22-24, 2011. The facility was nice and clean and the rooms were fine. HOWEVER, the customer service was horrible! We booked 2 rooms over the internet one for me and my family and the other for my sister and her family. When we checked in of Friday, we were wanting to pay for the rooms separately. [...] When we arrived, I was told I needed to give my credit card information for my room. [...], was the person helping me. He took my credit card information and I signed a receipt thinking it was for my room. My sister did the same for her room. On Sunday morning my sister went downstairs to check out. She spoke with [...] and told her she was checking out of her room #328. [...] ran her information and told her she was checked out and everything was fine. When my husband went to check us out of our room #330, he gave [...] cash for our payment. She took the cash and supposedly checked us out. She never offered a receipt. My husband walked out but then remembered he didn't get a receipt. He went back in and [...] looked into the system and found out that both rooms had already been charged to my sister's credit card on Friday when we checked in. If that was the case, why did [...] take my husband's money? When she pulled up our room # it should have shown a "zero" balance since both rooms were paid on Friday. It took 45 minutes for [...] to figure out how to refund my husband his money. Now my credit card that [...] required me to give him when we checked in on Friday has a hold on it for the amount of the rooms for those two nights. So we have been charged 3 times for our 2 nights stay at this hotel. Once on my sister's card, once when [...] took the cash from my husband and now on my credit card. I was told the hold should release in 48 hours. And instead of admitting that they were wrong, [...] starts to argue with us. Needless to say I WILL NEVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL NOR RECOMMEND ANYONE STAYING HERE. The staff is INCOMPETENT and RUDE!!
