Extended Stay America New Orleans - Metairie

Not bad for the price. I think it was less than 10 minutes to the French Quarter. Plenty of spots to eat and shop around hotel too.

This hotel was clean, affordable, and a great place to stop near New Orleans. I would recommend it!

I was not super impressed with the hotel but since i booked the hotel in such a short notice i was glad to have some where to stay that was close enough to down town with an affordable price. We stayed two nights and we never received maid service, and the showers were cold for the most part. The front desk did not have any maps, or brochures of things to do in and around the city which was a disappointment because i have never been to new orleans so i was lost for about half of day one.

Elevator was dirty. No room service unless you're staying more than 7 days. You had to go downstairs to get your own towels. Old TV. The room had a strange odor. Definitely would not stay there again!!

Front desk personnel very friendly and helpful. Overall room cleanliness not very good. Pretty good bang for the buck.

The good was that it was near the highway and the front desk ladies were a great help in directions and getting things we needed. The bad was that we had to go down and get our own towels, that they only clean weekly without being charged extra for it, that there were 2 lights broken in our room and they did not know. No sample dish soap offered and only 1 small garbage can...really??? It rained hard the last night I was there and the parking lot and entrance flooded so much that I was afraid to drive my rental car in. I ended up running over something and got a flat. May not be their fault, but that is how I see it having to go way around the block to enter their lot in a different way to avoid the flood. The beds were hard. Had to fold up the bedspreads and sleep on them for additional cushion. In some visible spots the floor stripping was coming off the walls, the tub was stained. Extended stay and you only get 4 hangers? Really?? For the money, I was disappointed.

We went to New Orleans/Metairie for Jazz & Heritage Fest. We were on a budget and chose to stay here. The room was not fancy but was comfortable enough. The staff was friendly. The location was not too far from things.

Stayed here for mardi gras short interstate drive from the french quarter. hotel staff very friendly and helpful. hotel right off interstate but its a little confusing trying to get to with all the different ramps and exits. rooms need a minor remodel but they were clean just out of date. room service doesnt come unless you request it. you get your own towels from front desk and take out your own trash, which was fine with me because i dont like people in my room. rooms come with icebox, microwave, stove, sink, dishes and pots and pans.

The bathroom was dirty and the room itself was just dirty looking. I expected better for that price

The rooms were very dirty. We requested a non-smoking room but were placed in a smoking room. The toilet didn't work and there was no toilet paper in the bathroom. The kitchen area and bathroom were not clean. After calling the front desk, we were able to change rooms. The second room was a non-smoking room but it was also very dirty. The sink was leaking in the bathroom. In order to contain the leak, a trash can (that was 3/4 full of dirty water) was placed under the sink. Therefore we had no trash can in our room. This hotel was very disappointing. We've never had such a bad experience in the New Orleans area before.
