Courtyard by Marriott New Orleans Metairie

Everything here was exactly what I've come to expect from Courtyard hotels, which is why I frequently use them for my business travel. Nothing flashy, but everything is well maintained and clean, the staff is consistently well trained and friendly.

My wife and I had a good time on this hotel. The staff was really friendly and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable. The hotel has the usual amenities like free wifi, business center, etc. it also has an outdoor pool and jacuzzi. The drive to downtown New Orleans is just 10 minutes and the hotel is conveniently located right off I-10. We can definitely recommend it!

Brain friendly environment - lovely scent throughout, floors clean, no spots observed, no insects observed. Orderly area for socializing, eating, and working. All tables were clean, no crumbs or smears noticed. No stains on seats or scratches on furniture. Clean and organized food and beverage area. Entrance sliding doors clean. Receptionist/front desk/representative area illustrated professionals at work, no clutter, food, or drink containers noticed. Bedroom: clean, clean, clean. No stains or spots on carpet. Clean toilet, bathtub, and sink. No smears on mirrors. Sink counter displayed stains or burns. Excellent bedding. Recommend: Complimentary coffee in lobby Our trip to New Orleans was for my niece wedding. I did not want to spend the amount of money for the downtown hotel that was reserved for family/guests. I am glad that we stayed at the Courtyard in Metairie. The distance was not far away with ample parking space. It was an enjoyable visit and memorable wedding.

Great location, staff was friendly and full of advice for beating the NYE crowd. Would stay here again.

Easy in, easy out, friendly staff, very clean. Mattress was very comfortable, second only to the Sleep Number beds at Doubletree. Being set back just a couple blocks from the main intersection is enough to make for a quiet stay. Bundling with my rental car made for a very good rate on a very high-rate Superbowl-Mardi Gras week. Decor is fairly pedestrian, but utilitarian and clean. Fitness center is adequately equipped with cario machines and dumbells for a quick workout.

enjoyed my overnight stay at Courtyard - clean room, clean linens and close to the interstate . breakfast was good and affordable.

It's close to the mall and a lot good restaurants! Also it was quite and clean room. Worth my money.

This is a pretty standard mid-tier hotel. The rooms are clean, but very outdated. The lobby is newly renovated and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast bar is great, but a bit pricey. The location is about a 15 minute drive from the French Quarter, which worked for this trip but I would suggest staying downtown for the ease of walkability to sites. Overall, this hotel was fine but far away from sites and not the nicest decor.

Right where we wanted to be regarding access to homes of relatives & friends.

We requested a fridge and a microwave for the suite and these were provided at no extra cost; we wanted 2 rooms for family members and they made it possible to put them in adjoining rooms which was wonderful in itself; the staff was very helpful and friendly; rooms were clean and smelled immaculate; linens were nice; and all the above at a very reasonable price! We'd like to thank Courtyard by Marriott for the wonderful accommodations. Would recommend to friends, business acquaintances and family.
