We came to Lake Charles just for a night. The location is not in a great neighborhood but the hotel itself seemed very safe. The room was clean but nothing fancy. The best aspect of the hotel was the very friendly staff and their willingness to help us!

Crisis hospital visit for friend
Staff friendliness checking in and out. late nite check in and early chk out did not give me the experience of staying or judging things as well. It met my needs and we will be staying here again in a week or two. This was our second visit here. The first visit was not as good over a few days. We always like Holiday Inn Express stays but they need to upgrade their breakfast bar.

They told us the IHOP was 3 miles down the road but you need to know to turn left at the redlight at the interstate and you cant see it from the hwy.

Wonderful one night stay
Hotel was very clean with updated bathroom and bedding. Offered all the amenities needed ...microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, hair dryer, internet connections, etc. Courteous and helpful staff (declined a tip). Downside: no shuttle service or food service after breakfast. Air conditioner was very loud.

Adequate
Used for sleeping only. No soap in bathroom. Very nice and helpful staff. Shuttle to airport would have helped, but taxi called by front desk was on time and OK. More than one computer access would have helped to obtain boarding passes. Wake-up call was on time. Overall, the experience was average/adequate.

Not Wowed!!!
OK but not Awesome
the locations was not as close to the Casinos as the internet claimed it was. External doors did not open easily with the room key. the hallways had a bad smell of smoke which was masked by cleaners.

very good at cost efficient price
We were in transit.Located on I-10, one of the most convenient place to stay. Breakfast service tables were little congested - & therefore required to wait for turn.

Friendly Staff
Traveled there with friends we could ask staff anything from where to eat to how to get places. They were so friendly even offered to take a group picture of us. The rooms were average restrooms are really small and needed a little upgrading. Shower pressure was low and shower drain was rusty which just looked nasty, but room was nice and clean.

Excellent Experience
Our experience was awesome, from the front desk to the clean room! Breakfast was good and everyone (staff)was extremely nice and greets ya no matter what time it is... We actually arrived early before check in time and front desk was able to check us in with no problem, so that was a super extra plus for me! This hotel is close driving distance to Lauberger casinos.. Over all experience is I will be coming back to this hotel again and recommend it to anyone!

"The hotel was really lovely"
