Days Inn Lafayette/Airport

Room was clean but just plain trashed. The carpet had holes. The walls that had holes on them were just painted over so the room looked like it was polka dotted. The lamp shde was busted. One of the pictures in the room had the glass broken. Cold air poured in from the bottom where the door did not fit. Was scared to go outside to walk the dog. Just generally NOT a $50.00 a night room.

It worked out great for me since I was traveling solo. Room was clean when I arrived and was serviced while I was gone. It fit my budget and was close not far away from downtown Lafayette or the major interstates. It fit my budget so I chose it. I'd stay here again if I ever make my way back to the south again. It is nothing classy, but I didn't need all that jazz that comes with a triple digit a night figure. I just needed the bare necessities.

The employees at the front desk were extremely nice and very helpful. The room was comfortable. The one thing I didn't appreciate was every morning around 7:30 the cleaning staff would stand outside of my room and carry on a 30 minute conversation. The other thing is the hotel is apparently close to a train. You could hear it rumble as it passed but never woke me up at night, so it really didn't bother me. I would stay here again if ever in the area.

The hotel was decent if you are in a hurry and just need some place to stop, unfortunately I wasn't. The hotel had been updated, but the bathroom smelled liked they had remodled over pee pee. The room smelt like a urinal even though it looked clean which made me think that they renovated over the existing pee pee floors in the bathroom. I paid 45.00 a night and felt that it was over priced. For breakfast, I went to the lobby for apple juice and pushed the button on the machine and orange sludge came out of the other spout. So I then pushed the orange juice button and once again got orange sludge. I wouldn't stay there again unless I just had to stop or fall asleep while driving.

Hotel was just what I expected. Nothing fancy,comfortable and clean room.

Not bad for the price, room was fairly clean for an older motel.

Very poor internet connection, unable to work effectively on line. The window unit was not very effective, the room was uncomfortably warm even with the "HI Cool" turned all the way up.

I was visiting family members. This was my first stay in Lafayette. I will certainly stay at this hotel again.

The front desk staff was very friendly, the rooms were clean and the rate was extremely reasonable. Close to downtown Lafayette and Broussard.

Exactly what I needed. Easy hassle-free check in. Guy behind desk could see I was exhausted, just asked for ID, and waived all the red tape, gave me key, and I went straight to bed! Good beds. Good showers. Quiet. and Community Coffee too! Great price!!!! Loved it.
