Extended Stay America New Orleans - Kenner

I've stayed at this hotel the last 4 years going to Mardi Gras in New Orleans. The staff is always very friendly, [...]. Rooms are clean, refrigerator, microwave, very efficient.Nothing fancy.

This was by far the worst hotel experience I've ever had in my entire life! I reserved a NON-smoking room [...]. There were no other non-smoking rooms available so we had to stay in the stinky room that they had. There were no extra towels or pillows and the staff was extremely unprofessional. The one employee that was there left the hotel unattended while she went out for food and the following evening the woman working brought her child to work with her. To top the horrible experience off, the entire bottom floor smelled like raw sewage. Never ever will we stay at this awful establishment again!

we had 2 rooms reserved both were good for the price. Nice rooms with kitchens and little dining areas for the price I would consider staying there the whole time on my next trip. Front desk people were very nice and helpful. some problem with finding it, because it is behind another business

I was put in wrong type room.asked for no smoking and a king. i got smoking and a queen room. other than that it was ok. and quiet.

FIrst off, we couldn't find the hotel cause it was BEHIND Sonics!!, then, they only had 1 receptionist at desk so it took awhile to check in, then the room was sooooooo dirty, used forks and salt packets were in the windowsills, the carpet wss BADLY stained, and threadbare in some parts, i got sick due to the ac blasting with the windows open.

We were looking for a hotel close to airport for an AM flight. Linens and towels were typical for this price hotel. On the plus side, the decor was very modern, TV was flat screen and the room and bathroom were spotless. The room had a funny smell but this faded by the morning. The biggest problem was finding the hotel. We came in late at night and spent considerable time driving looking for the hotel. THere is a small low sign at driveway and hotel is completely blocked by business in front of hotel (SONIC). It was,however, very easy to travel to ariport.

The ad said it transportation to Airport - yes if you call a taxi providing transport, WiFi - yes if you pay extra and it is not on or in any way near the airport for anyting other than a vehicle of some type. The Sign for the entrance was small (4ft x 3ft) off the way and it looks as if you are turning nto the Sonic drive in. The staff was helpful if asjked directly, but disinterested on the whole. The was no shower curtain when we arrived in the rrom. Ther was no pad of paper or a pen in sight and if you are on buseines ther is no bussines center, no printer and no way to get something like airlines tickets printed. Ther were no cups/glasses in the bath and only one small bar of soap. The linoleom was coming up and tripping people as they got off the elevator. This had to be one of the least of any hotel/motel I have ever stayed in. If I had to say something nice it would be that the room was clean and the beds were firm, but that is all I found acceptable.

The staff was friendly and courteous. The hotel was quiet and the rooms were spacious and very clean. Excellent location close to the airport and a short drive to the French Quarter. Also convenient to several excellent restaurants. Full-size refrigerator and kitchenette were great for a lengthy stay.

We had drove all night from Daytona Beach, Fl. to New Orleans, Check-in wasn't until 3:00pm but the front desk was very accomidating in allowing us to check in a couple of hours early. The girls at the front desk where wonderful and very helpful, I'm sorry that I can't recall there names off hand. We came to town for Madri Gras and this hotel was out far enough from the crowds and traffic, but close enough for easy acess to the parades and to the interstate.
