The location, Americas Best Inns Kenner, Kenner, Louisiana, was okay.

This America's best was far from being that. After checking into our room after the long ride to Louisiana, we discover the room had no clean wash cloths or towels, and there were none available. There was no working ice machine, and one of the elevators had no lighting and it ran quit slowly. The inn was in a very good location so I really expected more.

First the good. Great location for aiprport use,about 1 mile from the airport. However, the cab ride was $15. one way.. The whole place was drab and worn.. The sheets were worn and had holes and a couple of small bugs,, not bed bugs but bugs. floor did not appear to have been vacuumed in some time.. stains on some of the walls and doors, that would come off but were not cleaned..

The pictures in the add are VERY MISLEADING. The hotel is in need of a makeover its FILTHY. The carpet is so dirty we had to go buy flip flops to wear in room, the showers (lukewarm)hot water barely trickled out. There were patched holes in the wall that werent even painted to match the room. The pool was algae covered and dirty obviously never cleaned or maintained. The bathroom in the lobby was SCARY, blood stains on toilet. Went in a day later still uncleaned with no paper towels. This is a poor reflection on z considering all there TV commercials. I felt embarrased considering I had booked the room for the people I was traveling with.

My car broke down across the street from the hotel.....the gas station owner wanted to tow my car off their property.......asked hotel staff for help to maneuver car to hotel........but no help.......so i had to get my car towed across the street to hotel....cost was 65 dollars.....technician told me the battery terminal was no good........ok ....cool.......so i ask hotel owner for help getting me to a auto parts store .....he then told me how to catch the city bus.......so therefore we were stuck at hotel all weekend.........we got help from guest..who saw us trying

Staff watching WWE when i checked in, smoker in front of my non smoking room, glad i brought my own cleaning supplies and the security door was propped open with a coin shoved into the locking mechanism which the next morning didn't open at all, glad there was no fire because i'm positive i would not have made it out alive.

Picked the hotel because it was close to the airport, but cab was $15 each way and had to wait 50 minutes for cab to get back to the airport. Hotel itself was noisy with thin walls and had uncomfortable bed. I'd skip this hotel.

My 1st thought after checking in and entering my room was: "I can't believe they charged me $99 on for this". The bedspread & curtain had to date back to the 1980's and once I got the A/C on, the mold smell wasn't so bad. Of course, I had a non-smoking room, so it could have been worse. The area location was far from upscale, but it was close to the Zephyrs baseball park and the airport. Basically, I got charged double what the room was worth and kind of feel I got burned.

Basically the hotel was under construction. I was very uncomfortable with my stay.

Americas Best Inns looked good on the outside but inside is very disappointing. It was displeasing visually once you enter the pool area. The bathroom was filty. Hair on the floor and around the tub and toilet area. The only thing I was happy to see was an ironing board and iron. They did have a hairdryer which is nice to have if you left yours at home. I'm sure they would have given us another room but we were so tired and didn't have hopes of any of the other rooms being any better than the one we had.
