Econo Lodge Kenner

We came down to celebrate my mom-in-law birthday. I've used you guys to stay there once before and the non smoking rooms are pleasent. The tub was stopped up and had a dirty shower curtain. We had to check out early because of a car accident we were involved in on the last night so we didn't get to complete the trip but overall I would stay there again as long as I get a non smoking room.

Overall, this was a pretty pleasant experience. the front desk staff was very helpful. The overall cleanliness of the room was decent except the chair appeared to have some stain on it presumably from bleach and the tub had had running water for so long that it rusted the porcelin. My shampoo and soap were not replenished during my stay and I had to use my spare ones that I had brought with me. The pool looked disgusting and I was very surprised to see people using it. The hot tub was growing algae along with some of the other water fixtures.

The room was cheap, and provided what I needed: a clean bed. Other things were not that great: the internet was too slow to stream a video, there were hairs from other people in the bathroom, and housekeeping knocked at like 8 am. Still, I got a decent night's sleep - then left.

A little difficult to find due to 1) It keeps changing names and 2) it is located on two streets - Williams Blvd & Veteran's Blvd behind a restaurant that also keeps changing it's name. Overall the room was ok. Basically clean although the bathroom needed some work. The hot tub was ot in the courtyard and full of leaves. Needed to be cleaned. Not sure if it was operational.

Americas Best Inns looked good on the outside but inside is very disappointing. It was displeasing visually once you enter the pool area. The bathroom was filty. Hair on the floor and around the tub and toilet area. The only thing I was happy to see was an ironing board and iron. They did have a hairdryer which is nice to have if you left yours at home. I'm sure they would have given us another room but we were so tired and didn't have hopes of any of the other rooms being any better than the one we had.

The location, Americas Best Inns Kenner, Kenner, Louisiana, was okay.

This America's best was far from being that. After checking into our room after the long ride to Louisiana, we discover the room had no clean wash cloths or towels, and there were none available. There was no working ice machine, and one of the elevators had no lighting and it ran quit slowly. The inn was in a very good location so I really expected more.

Basically the hotel was under construction. I was very uncomfortable with my stay.

Hotel was under construction for lobby check-in. Room was clean, a/c worked great. No noise at night. Would recommend for price alone for someone who just wants a great nites sleep.
