Clean and Convenient
This was your average Howard Johnson Hotel. No surprises. It was clean and, although it had many no smoking rooms, the hallway outside our room smelled of cigarette smoke. Our room did not, however. The hotel was convenient to the attractions we were interested in seeing and the staff was courteous.

Long walk from hotel
About a mile from the hotel is 1921, the best seafood for miles. Although it has quite a bit of fried seafood, it also has the most delicious you-pick crabs and fantastic huge shrimp. The beer was cold and the wait staff very nice. Highly recommended.

The staff was friendly and accomodating. The bathrooms could have been cleaner. We could tell they were not really sanitized. It's a new hotel, the beds were comfortable but the pillows were very small. Average hotel.

Basically for the Houma area it is centrally located to stores, entertainment and restaurants.

Nice Stay
The staff was great, we had 2 rooms for 4 days. One of our guys was really sick on this trip. The staff was great to help us to find a doctor. It was during the hoildays and when we checked out, she was so thoughtful to see how he was feeling and if we had any problems finding the doctor. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was good.

Friendly and Clean
Friendly staff very clean rooms and the location was good for us. The only thing was the walls seem to be very thin...we could hear the people in the other room talking!
