not bad
went here because bourbon street was sold out. It was not bad at all. It is right over the bridge from NO and downtown. So it is like a $20 cab ride to get there. Plus if you are going to do swamp tours it is close enough to drive and save money that way.

Short drive from hotel
take cab from the hotel make sure to get the cab's number so you can call them to pick you up. Other wise the cabs you get downtown may charge you an arm and a leg.

NOLA quickie
Hotel was clean and easy to find. They have a flat rate deal to the French Quarter with a cab company for 17.00, not bad. Trip back was 12.00 w/o tip. In the same lot as an IHOP. Staff was nice and informative. I would stay here again with out a second thought .

We had an excellent stay. Check-in and Check-out was easy. Location was ten minutes from the french quarter which was excellent for us. I would recommend this to anyone. Just remember to keep some $1 bills on you for the toll bridge to get back into New Orleans.

Not a good place to the price you spend
The area was bad. I didn't feel safe staying there or my car parking outside. The room was smelly. We book a non-smoking room. when we got there, they said that they didn't have any more non-smoking room. Then why let us reserve in the first place???

Comfortable stay
I was there for both business and pleasure. The hotel is just across the bridge over the mississippi so if you are driving to the downtown its a short commute with no traffic (5 minutes, toll= $1) but if there is traffic it can take up to 45 minutes to go a the 5 miles or so. The hotel is comfortable and clean. The pool is also nice. The primary downside is that it is not a great location but thats why it is cheaper.

Adequate for the money
Chose motel to stay at for our visit to NO for a wedding. Others paid double and triple the cost we paid.Found motel to be clean and adequate. Were quite disapointed that they were not able to fit servicing our room into their time frame. Wished coffee could have been better. Office staff was quite personable. Helped us get first floor room to facitate our handicaps Main problem was getting into a wrinkled, unmade bed bed on second night. Location was difficult to deal with for us country folk.
