Great deal for the money!
I'm picky, this was clean and although the first room was tiny (hence MICROtel) we were moved to a larger room when we complained. When I say small - be aware these hotels have some rooms that are so small you cannot walk by your spouse without one of you backing into the bathroom or backing down beside the bed! They also have some with kitchenettes that are larger. You might want to specify. But either way - the location was great, very clean and our room was quiet and I felt safe and it didn't break the bank!. Also Outback Steakhouse was in the parking lot!

The location of the hotel was very nice. It was a few minutes from the malls and casinos The room was quite clean. I had to call the front desk for an ironing board and iron. I expected it to be in the room already. The room did not have a refig or microwave. The microwave was in the lobby area for all residents. The hotel is good if you just plan to sleep there and change to go on outings. It is not good if you are going there to relax...

Not the best of Bossier City!
The staff was rather irritating. Service was very slow and made you feel that you were interrupting whatever they really wanted to do rather than help you. Poor service ranged from the girl at the desk to the maid service to the woman helping with the breakfast. Overall poor. Would not want to stay there again.

Culminated assisting in the movement of relatives. Small "euro style" room. But the hotel was clean and the desk and houskeeping staff were helpful and attentive. A good choice for single or light packing couple.

Good value
Convenient location, easy to access from I20, close to casinos, and close enough to downtown, major attractions, and dining. Extremely clean. Competent, friendly staff. Good continental breakfast. Added feature of delicious, light, home-cooked supper 3 evenings a week. Train track nearby, but trains didn't disturb my sleep. Great example of a chain at its best.

Home Away from Home
I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at the hotel. The staff are friendly, they're quick to assist with any needs and are very good professionals. I felt like I had stepped back into my home after a day or so. Their continental breakfast was very good and the staff balanced the job very well when their cook took maternity leave. I hardly realize she was not there. The rooms were clean and the staff always made sure that we had enough towels to last us the day, sometimes handing us two sets of towels. They treated my son with courtesy and respect and he didn't feel out of place in their establishment. A few things needed repair in our room, but nothing that made it unserviceable. There are two restaurants in walking distance, and there's a Mall right across from I-20. The location served my purposes really well. The only down side was the train passing by at what seemed to me as random hours, but I was able to tune it out without much trouble. All in all, we had a wonderful time visiting family and Microtel Inn & Suites made it all the more relaxing. When I go down to visit family again I see myself staying there once again.

Great Stay
First time ever staying at a Microtel hotel. We arrived early and they let us in the room so we could rest before attending a wedding later that day. Hotel was clean, quiet and decent breakfast. Couldn't ask for more for the price.
