Good deal in Shreveport / Bossier
Good choice for the business traveler looking for a change in scene from the usual Hotel chains - and during the week at great value. Casino Hotel rooms heavily discounted Monday to Thursday. Good choice of Bars and restaurants in the Casino - and room was large, clean and comfortable. They cant guarantee non smoking room when you book - which is a risk. Internet is extra fee also. Easy walking to shops and restaurants nearby as well.

Independence Bowl Basecamp
The hotel is easy to access right off I-20. Check in is at 4pm however we were allowed to check in at 1230pm. There are two lines for check in. One for the regular people and one for diamond club members. They will check in the diamond club members first. The room was clean and new. It had 3 televisions. A nice sofa and table. The elevators were fast. One thing I didn't like was that the only place to get breakfast during the week was the bar. The buffet for breakfast is only open on the weekends.

Horseshoe not good anymore
Hotel room was run down and shabby. Front desk clerk had a bad[*]attitude. No maid service. Too bad - this hotel used to be very nice. What a shame they let it go to the dogs.
