Passed plum out!

I was taking a mini vacation in the Shreveport/Bossier City area and wanted a comfortable place to crash out after a long night of playing poker. I found it here in spades! It wasn't a perfect stay as my ratings point out, but I would stay again. First the not so good: The room was stuffy...it had a musty smell that I noticed as soon as I walked in. After running the fan, it subsided but never fully went away. The Good: If you are looking for a comfortable bed to lay your head, look no further! I finished up a 16 hour poker run (at one of the casinos which was just a few minutes away) crawled into bed and passed plum out. It was cozy but supportive, and gave me some great sleep. The abundance of outlets in the room was refreshing. My phone, my laptop, my other electronics...all had a place to recharge with ease. The screen size on the TV was nice for those moments I was in the room and watching TV from the bed. The laptop tray was really nice, that way I didn't have to scald my legs while sitting in the bed with my laptop. The hot breakfast was certainly no gourmet buffet, but they never claimed it to be. Fresh waffles I made myself, cereals, bagels, juices, scrambled eggs...it was a quick and easy way to get my day started off right.

Stress Free Business Travel

I found the hotel to be clean and the room comfortable. I found the staff to be concerned about my comfort and very accomodating. A hotel can never be home but they made every attempt to make me feel at home and they succeeded. The only suggestion I would make is that the entry into Gould Drive should be better marked. I missed it the first time.

Good Overall

My husband and I stayed with a friend over New Years Eve in this Hampton. The staff was extremely friendly. They offered to give us directions to any place we wanted to go. The keys to our doors weren't working and they sent someone to fix the lock immediately. The beds are very comfortable and the pillows are about average for a hotel. A delicious steakhouse is right across from the parking lot. We just walked over. The only negatives I had with this hotel are the breakfast and the price. The biscuits and gravy were terrible and chalky. However, I would stay at this hotel again. Overall, we were pleased with our stay.

We attended Disney on Ice. The room was very dirty. The bathroom floor was filthy; the toilet was dirty; the counter top in the bathroom was full of hair.

Great Room

We got in very late, and the front desk staff was there waiting for us since they knew when we'd be arriving. The room was great, comfortable, and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful all weekend. I think the king bed rooms are fantastic, perfect for a couple looking for a relaxing weekend

Great family hotel

We stayed at Hampton Inn while we attended the Mudbug Madness Festival. The hotel was in a perfect location as it was close to the Mall where a shuttle service was provided to the Festival. The beds are the most comfortable beds I have slept in a hotel. We especially liked that the Texas Roadhouse restaurant was right across and we were able to walk there.
