the worse, the bad, and the really ugly
Our room was very smelly, like it had water damage but we were on the ninth floor. [...]The decor was like a scene from golden girls... I could sleep the bed seemed to be unclean I itched all nite!!

Great place to stay
We were in town for a wedding. The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. It was a great weekend. I would definately stay here again.

Great getaway for young or old
Best casino we have visited, we have been to Vegas and many other casinos but this one is far superior in all respects. The staff could not have been any friendlier, the security was great, the room was awsome with no problems what so ever. Very personable place, not treated like another number in Vegas. Room needed a little more air movement, ac was not quite enough!

Isle of Capri?
Our stay at the Diamond Jack Hotel was certainly not one of our best travel experiences (though we've had much worse!). The front desk clerks were incredibly nice and helpful. The rooms themselves (still very "Isle of Capri" though the hotel/casino has been purchased by Diamond Jack--the renovations have hit the casino but not the hotel side, apparently) were kind of dingy and seemed a little sketchy. It's not so much that the room felt dirty, it just didn't feel as clean as you wanted it to be (we found a pill on the floor next to the edge of the bed--pretty sure it was just an aspirin, but still a little worrisome). Part of it (I'm sure) was the fact that this is an older hotel. It was kind of cheesy, but kind of fun that there was a jacuzzi tub in the bedroom area. The view from the window looking down on the pool was nice. The decor was pretty awful (the whole Mardi Gras/Isle of Capri look). But overall, not a bad experience, just not great.

The Louisiana Boardwalk shopping area was really nice and very close to the hotel. Lots of shopping and restaurants--nice to get away from the casino scene.

Very pleasant stay
Didn't arrive until late but still had time to hit the casino for a couple of hours. The beds were so comfortable, just what we needed after a long evening and it was very quiet! Check out wasn't till noon so we were able to sleep in also. Really enjoyed our short getaway.

The Boardwalk is about 1 mile away and it is awsome! Many places to shop, eat, enjoy a movie, or just walk around.

Jeff bossier trip
We gambled in avery smokey casino....bad ventilation.looks like they cater mostly to smokers. and rooms needed more privacy.... you could really hear the people next door.

Not bad
The convenience of the casino and restaurants in the hotel were good. Free valet was good. Rooms were in good condition. Hotel rules are very strict.

Great place for a romantic getaway
My stay at your hotel was nice and relaxing. I really enjoyed the in room whirlpool tub that makes for a nice romantic getaway for couples. I loved every minute of my stay and look forward to my next stay.
