Stay in Bossier City near dockside riverboat casinos
Comfort Inn Bossier City is in the heart of Bossier City, close to the riverfront casinos, Harrah's Louisiana Downs racetrack, Barksdale Air Force Base and shopping at the Louisiana Boardwalk. The completely renovated hotel offers plenty of free extras, including breakfast, local calls, USA Today newspaper, Manager's Reception, seasonal outdoor pool, business center and Wi-Fi. Terrible
Came here for a cheer competetion with my daughter and her team. Check in was good but when we got into our room it was a different story. Stains all over comforters, ciggerette burns on comforters, the room smelled of ciggerettes and the sheets were dirty. blood and makeup on pillow cases. Needless to say after i saw this i got my money back and went elsewhere. The general manager was very helpful with this. He wanted to switch our room but I was sick by that time.

Pleasant Stay
I really appreciated the customer service at this hotel. The manager on duty in the evenings really went above and beyond trying to help me and was very friendly. The breakfast in the morning was satisfactory and the free internet and complimentary newspaper were some amenities I enjoyed. I would stay here again.

Short drive from hotel
Check out the boardwalk in Bossier! It was great with a lot of good deals at the stores, as well as a nice movie theater.

Nice Hotel....
I traveled to Shreveport with a small group of female friends to celebrate my Bday for the weekend. The staff was friendly, didnt take long to get checked in and settled in our room. Location was ok...not to far from casinos...and being right off I20 everything was a quick and easy drive...negatives: room wasnt really big...small bathroom...smoky smell...limited free breakfast could have been skipped...parking got pretty limited at one point...but overall nice place to stay...nothing fancy but it was clean...staff was polite...easy check in and out......

There was a casino located within walking distance...but we preferred to drive...being right off I20 it was pretty close to everything we wanted to do...including the boardwalk, eldarodo casino...gigi'z club...

Trying to be fair
Adequate
The hotel was not horrible. The room was clean on check-in, but the carpet and utilities were somewhat old. Microwave and refrigerator were good for my purposes. Hotel is adjacent to the interstate, and could be noisy on that side; fortunately, I was on the opposite side, and the noise was not a problem. Not the best neighborhood in the world on first sight, but there were no problems with noise or rowdiness.
