Bossier Inn and Suites

When I walked into the lobby, it smelled like a flood, like river mud, which, if you didn't know, is an awful smell. the room was out of date, but it was clean and the beds were comfy. the hotel does have a sauna and it works well. i was nervous at first because the lobby wreaked so terribly, but thankfully the room was clean. don't bring small children that crawl because i wasn't so sure about the cleanliness of the carpet. Definitely a one-nighter.

Shower was dirty and the tiles were falling off the wall. The room was filthy and in need a major maintenance. It smelled of cigarette smoke despite being marked as a non smoking room. No hair dryer or coffee pot as advertised. Slow check in and uncaring staff.

We chose this site because it was very reasonable in price and close to the casinos. I should have listened to the other reviews. It was past needing updating and repairs. The bed had 2 springs sticking out of the side of the mattress...could have scratched me or torn some clothing; the vanity was coming off the wall and leaning (needed a support under it);there was a leak somewhere in the vanity area, and water collected on the floor; the towel rack at the vanity was about to fall off the wall, and the one in the shower area was uneven and bent; the tiles in the shower were old and reused in places and some were even missing; the shower drain did not work well (besides the hair that came up when we first turned on the shower...no way we'd take a bath and sit in it!). The website said that each room had a coffee pot, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, but in order to get these, you had to leave a deposit at the front desk. It took a very long time to check in (we had 2 rooms for 2 nights each), and we were the only ones checking in at that time. Very noisy,next to the Interstate, and a lot of light coming in. The vanity counter looked like it had not been wiped clean in a while and the full-length mirror had not been cleaned in a while.

I did not like the hotel

the locks on the doors to the rooms were not working, would not lock properly. Unsafe feeling for 3 widow women there alone.

no class cheap you get what you pay for

The first room we were given was clean, but the lights wouldn't work. The clock was plugged in and on, so there was electricity. When I let the staff know, they immediately upgraded our room for free. Both rooms were clean and neat. The downside to the rooms were that they were both showing signs of wear. And the hotel is RIGHT next to the interstate, where they were doing road construction. But for the price, it was perfect.

The hotel wasn't that bad except for the fact that it wasn't very clean. Especially the bathroom and thats the most important thing that you want to be clean. The tub was nasty and around the face bowl area was nasty it looked as if stuff was falling from the ceiling. I just wasn't to pleased with that. Also there was suppose to have been an iron and ironing board in the room and there wasn't which was very inconvenient.

The hotel was in a great location. But what I liked about it the most was shuttle that runs around the clock. For the price on a Sat. night next to the casino's you cant beat it.

Drove around and missed it. Hidden behind a service station.
