Fantastic Place
This is no Ceasars Palace but the location was perfect. Easily accessible to every location in baton Rouge off of Airline Drive and even had a small public park called Cedarcrest which was very close and perfect for my wife and I to go over and play tennis at everyday we were there. Very quiet and private area. The staff was pretty good, other than the weekend rent-a-cop. Don't walk outside without a shirt on or he will nab you. Apparently it is policy that males must weat shirts outside. Well, I still didn't, don't care...wasn't going to. The hot breakfast was a little lack-luster. Don't expect more than just a small piece of sausage or some very thin bacon but we didn't stay here for its food either. I would absolutely stay again if we went back to Baton Rouge. The room was very nice and clean and no evidence of any kind of bugs.

Sightseeing tip:
Short drive from hotel
Drive down Plaza Americana drive to Cedarcrest, turn left and an immediate left. Take that to Ascot, turn right. Go to the next block and turn left, then left again into Cedarcrest Park. It backs up to the Wholsale Flooring place on Plaza Americana but no way to walk to it. Great little park, very quiet and serene. That was our spot for tennis for 4 days.

Everything went well. The only complaint I have is that on our last day, they didn't have eggs and sausage at breakfast like they had had the previous 3 days.

Ramada Inn Baton Rouge
Hotel stay was good, the breakfast is less than desired and the TV's did not owrk in 4 rooms, I had to switch 3 times because of bad reception. They should get Flat screens 32 inches and better connection for better images

good deal
I was in town for a couple days visiting LSU and apartment hunting. The ramada was in a nice area,a 10-15min drive from LSU area depending on traffic, but there were places to eat and a grocery store nearby. The room was clean and the desk staff were friendly. My biggest complaint was the stale pastry at the continental breakfast, but it got the job done.

For what we wanted, fair deal
Was there for mother's funeral. Stayed there before and it's okay for what we want. Had a couple of problems with the room which was addressed promptly. If you're not looking for fancy, good place to stay.

Not too Shabby
When we checked in, the staff placed us where there was no one immediately around us; no one to disturb and no one to be disturbed by (+1). There was a small entertainment place behind the hotel, but we didnt even know they were operating since the wall and A/C unit absorbed or drowned out most of the noise (+1).

Dining tip:
Short drive from hotel
Super Target at Exit 6, heading north. Walmart grocery and Walgreens north of Ramada, right hand side. Many restaurants located on Sherwood Forest (exit 4) south side. I highly recommend Waka House, a sushi restaurant in the plaza before CVS which itself is on the corner of S Sherwood Forest and Coursey Blvd
