Motel 6 Baton Rouge Southeast

for the price and convenience of location to our destination this was a great stay, no extras but clean and the staff was very accommodating. Luddie was at the check in desk, she was able to get us in early and she was very concerned about getting the proper room for my elderly mother making sure it was accessible and close to us. We will definitely stay here again.

The bed was very hard and lumpy. There is no alarm clock or iron. I did not feel safe outside the room due to the crowd of people hanging around drinking outside. The staff was nice and done a great job. I guess you get what you pay for.

It was ok for the price. I think the hotel need to be updated really wasn't impressed with the decor. I didn't get that feeling of safety.

This was my first visit to Baton Rouge and I did not know anything about which particular area to stay in. Came across this listing on orbitz and I was looking for something cheap. I have stayed at several motel 6's before and this is the worst motel I have stayed in. Phone in the room did not work. People fighting outside the hotel. Paid for the wifi service. Could not connect to it. Front desk workers do not know what they are doing there.

We came into Baton Rouge for a music festival at LSU. We were looking for a hotel that allowed dogs at the last minute, so there were not many choices. This Motel 6 was as I expected for a $50/night room. Basic room with no extras. Clean enough but had a broken light in the bathroom - it came on about 50% of the time but there were other lights in the room. Pool right outside our door was simple & clean. Rooms surprisingly quiet. I was not charged a pet fee. Wireless internet $3 for 24 hours. Suggestions: bring some extra towels & TP. Bring your own blow dryer. I did like the wood floors instead of carpet. I felt safe enough at this location. Close to Target, IHOP, shopping & highway access. Good place to crash if you need a bed & shower & don't plan on spending much time in the room.

It was an awful experience. After checking in and seeing my room, I realized that it was not a safe place to stay the night.

The bed sheets and blankets smelled bad. There were no towels in the bathroom, and when I requested some for my bath, I was given a face cloth and told that's all they had available. When trying to make a payment, I had to go through three different employees before they were able to organize themselves enough to push my credit card number through. Granted, the staff were polite, but didn't seem as if they knew what the right hand was doing from the left hand, always passed the buck.

Hotel was sleepable. Not ready at check -in time had to wait 2 hours.

Attended son graduation, check-in was at 2:00pm, was told room wouldn't be ready till 4:00pm. When I did get my room there were on towels etc.

The location was great. The workers were nice and helpful. The rooms were ok for the price. We would stay there again.
