Clean, afforable, biggest bang for your buck

The room and entire hotel was clean. The staff was helpful and accommodating. We were in Baton Rouge to attend a funeral so our Embassy Suites experience was much appreciated. It made our trip easier and more comfortable. Thank you Embassy Suites.

Misleading

When I made my reservation, there was an upgrade for a 2 room suite. When I checked in, the "suite" only had the normal 1 bedroom and separate community area. I called the front desk, and she said that was the 2 room suite. The funny thing is that I called them before I made my reservation, and asked if it was a 2 bedroom or 2 room situation. The lady on the phone told me that it was 2 bedrooms plus the common area. I told this to the lady once I was in the room, and she said that all there suites are situated like mine. Add the fact that there was some sort of "fluid" by the TV when I checked in and the light in the bathroom would only flicker in the morning, it's safe to say I won't stay at this Embassy Suites again.

Comfortable, clean, peaceful

Ours was simply a place to sleep while passing through Louisiana. The beds were wonderfully comfortable. The room was clean and quiet. We had a suite (3 adults). The sofa bed wasn't comfortable, but it worked. The breakfast was quite fabulous and was included in the room rate. We enjoyed the atrium, the "garden", and the koi ponds. We hope there will be a room available when we return, passing through en route home.

Great UNTIL the very end

The room was excellent (very clean). Breakfast was also excellent. It was at check out that all went very wrong. My husbancd went down to get a cart to help get our luggage down, but he could not find one. He asked at the dest that had a least 3 people at it and all they said was they didn't know where any were and did not even try to help us find on. Then one of the elevators was down and it took us around 40 minutes to finally get one that was not full and get to the lobby. To be honest I don't think we will be staying there again.

Embassy Suites Baton Rouge

Hotel is convenient and located near LSU where our son was attending college. We went to Baton Rouge for his graduation. The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly, but there is nothing outstanding or overwhelming about the facility.
