Baton Rouge hotel
Quite hotel even though they had a track meet in town that weekend. Nice gym equipment but part of it was broken and one of the threadmill was shot. Not your traditional hotel where you can't park in front of your hotel room but they have carts you can use to take your bags up.

Baton rouge trip
Had a wedding to attend in the area. The only thing we kept searching for was a room service menu, couldn't find one however it may hve been there. The staff was very helpful and nice. Was a little upset when I booked the room we had a king bed and when we checked into our room it was two double beds; little disappointed but it wasn't a huge problem.

Sweet and not so sweet
We stayed one night at the Staybridge in Baton Rouge, left for one night in New Orleans, and then returned to the Staybridge for two more nights. The first suite we had was terrific. It was incredibly clean, spacious, and beautiful. The second and third nights we were in a different suite that was not so clean. The coffee maker was nasty and towels were limited. On top of that, housekeeping was not provided over the weekend so our very limited towels were not replaced.

Beer party during check in
Me and my brother stayed at the hotel for one night, he is going to LSU in the fall, so we wanted to go tour the campus. We arrive very late at night, i think around 2 or 3 am, and at the front desk when I was checking in, there are couple of guys hanging around the front desk area, they appeared to be drunk or semi drunk, and the rite side of the counter was full of empty beers can, which was very un-proffesional, made me second guess about the character of the hotel and rooms. But over all it was good hotel, looked fairly new. Other then the checkin incident, i would stay there agian.

Pleasant experience
I checked "quite & restful" above, but one night there was a little noise from a visiting college baseball team and their supporters--but not bad and they were nice young men. Overall this is one of the nicest motel/hotels that I have ever stayed in--Great breakfasts. Really courteous and helpful staff.

Short walk from hotel
The "Walk On" restaurant (and bar)is less than a block away. This restaurant is college crowd loud but the food is remarkable.
