Good Place
Very clean and comfy, the staff was nice, tons of restaurants to choose from, and near a bunch of fun places. No complaints here. :)

We stayed at this hotel while in Somerset for a car show , as we did last year .. the hotel is fine for the money but not extrordinary...my main disappointment with this hotel is its "breakfast" cosisting of coffee , juice , donut or packaged muffin or banana , forgive me if i have left anything out .. even so cheaply done as to have powdered cofee whitner I stayed at a hotel on my way to somerset for 49 $ and had homemade waffles , omlettes , toast fruit cereal and cream and flavoured liquid coffee flavours as well as regular cream .. the red roof is a fine place dont get me wrong just a little lacking in this area

It was ok
The towels from a previous resident was not removed. They were hanging up behind the bathroom door. The entry door was not solidly shut, could see light coming in through all four side of the door when it was shut. the room was comfortable, the access to TV stations was good. Breakfast was not a good selection.

We stay overnight one night in somerset each year and finding a clean, cheap place is getting harder and harder to do.

Orbitz Messed Up
We were there because of my father's funeral. When we arrived, the lady at the desk was wonderful. Her service was great and she made us feel like valued guests. Orbitz messed up though, because they had sent through a rate of $79 per night, when I had booked for $54. If I had not printed out my confirmation and brought it with us, we would have been in a mess! However, because the rooms were so clean (freshly remodeled) we were not too disappointed. Being coffee drinkers, I would say that the lack of coffee maker in the room and the bad coffee in the lobby were our biggest disappointments. We recommended the motel to others in the family, and the hotel got 5 other rooms booked because of us. I did NOT however, recommend Orbitz because of the negative experience.

good times
we were there for the summernites cruise and also to visit family..we been to summerset ky many times and have stayed at other more expensive hotels..this was by far the nicest and cleanest and least expensive hotel we have ever stayed at while there..i would definelty stay there again and i would recommend it to anyone visiting somerset
