I was in Somerset to attend professional education. Physically and intellectually challenging experience. I wanted no hassles, clean, quiet, and professional work from the inn's staff. That is exactly what I got. And the in-room coffee was good! You know I'll book here when I return to the area.

good location, smelled from cig smoke.
My husband and I were traveling in Ky and we stayed at Country Inn and Suites in Somerset. The room was very comfortable, however the smell of cigarettes continued in the hallway. The grout was coming up in the bathroom and we contacted them and they did a work order on it. We had a non smoking room which was great, but when you opened the door you could smell the cigarette smoke up and down the hallway. This was suppose to be a non smoking hotel. We suspected it was the staff.

The continental breakfast was wonderful and we had plenty of restaurants to choose from within 2 to 4 miles driving distance. The staff was great, always willing to give us great information, and very friendly. If it wasn't for the smoke in the hallways, this experience would have gotten nothing but 5 plus from me. I would definitley stay here again inspite of being allergic to cigarette smoke.

A great place the price is good value
We like the hotel alot. The front porch is wonderful Love to rock & swing. Did not like the breakfast, Would rather have the food hot and not frozen to be put in microwave.

Clean and comfortable
The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The only complaint came from my husband. He said he could hear someone running up and down the stairs near our room. I didn't hear them because I was asleep. No complaints from me.

Great value for the price
The hotel was a great price and wonderful rooms. Very nice staff. Lot's of restaurants nearby. Wish we were staying all week. This is the best hotel in Somerset!

cozy and comfortable
The Comfort Inn & Suites was cozy and comfortable with ample room. There was only one suitcase stand in this room though with a small desk in the corner. We were disappointed there were not refrigerators in every room and the restaurants are a bit far for walking distance especially at night. There were two porch swings and several rocking chairs at the entrance besides the lobby couch and chairs. The pool seemed sizable compared to some places I've been, but can be viewed from the parking lot especially when lit up at night.

Most of the dining within a long walk or short driving distance is fast food. However if you drive further down the road there is an excellent buffet that has a broad range of foods and at a very affordable price. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The steak was surprisingly exceptional.
