Really, this is where we are starying?
It was a slum hole. There was a person sleeping in a van outside of the hotel. I will never go there again!!! When I woke up in the morning and went to my car, there were beer cans laying in the walkway.

we did alot of sight seeing. It was easy access to i65. It was a very nice trip

Nice place to just rest. Its quite and safe. We checked in late and had no issues.

Traveling with Kids
Yuck
The knob came off the tub/shower, the desk attendant put it back on, but we were never able to get the water on. I had to carry water, in the ice bucket, and pour it over my three kids, so they could bath. My oldest child in turn had to keep refilling the bucket for me to pour over myself so I could shower. The blow dryer did not work, but I guess with no shower you don't need a hair dryer. A dirty towel hung on back of the bathroom door and atleast no wash cloth was mildewed. This was NO WAY to start off a good day. The smoke detector needed a battery, it kept beeping. Pool is not open, May 7, 2010.

Derby Date
Convenient but rooms not well kept
Location was convenient for weekend stay in Louisville area but issues with room cleaniness. Hotel manager unagreeable about complaint of cleaniness and did not care to personally see the room or offer discount on stay.

Triple Crown Steakhouse close by, good food, atmosphere and great staff.

horrible visit
The Days Inn was not clean, had missing microwave, rusty bolts on bathroom hinges, toilet kept overflowing. The pool was not working. The carpet had stains. I would not reccommend this hotel to anyone, the only thing I have told everyone is this is the worst place I have every stayed on a trip. When I told the management about everything she just had a horrible attitude and said we could cancel and find somewhere else..HORRIBLE JUST HORRIBLE
