Hotel stay
A bit run down...comforter had a hole in it; mattress very hard; tv was broken and had to change rooms; asked for an hour extension to check out and they forgot. Breakfast was good, USA Today available, staff mostly friendly.

The staff was very nice and helpful. Beth was at the front desk multiple times when we had a question or needed help with a key not working and she always helped with a smile and was very nice. It made the stay very pleasant.

the Jameson Hotel in RIchmond, KY was very clean and conveniently located. there were restaurants within walking distance as well as several on the other side of the highway. The front desk staff was extremely helpful. The rooms were quiet. There was a variety of cold and hot items available at the breakfast served in the morning. We were very pleased with the hotel.

Jameson INN...NOT
We did not get to stay at the Jameson, as they had over booked, so they sent us across the steet to the Comfort Inn and suites. With this hotel I was not impressed. There was hair on our shower wall. GROSS! The light fixture between the beds wasn't working, Turns out it was unplugged, but we should not have to move furniture to plug in a light fixture. When checking under the bed as I was clearing our stuff to check out I found trash from a previous guest. Breakfast was less than great. I was not the least bit happy with this stay. The Comfort Inn and Suites, I would not recommend. I Can't say whether I would recommend the Jameson Inn or not, it looked very nice from the outside. The lobby was average. None of the previuos ratings relate to the Jameson Inn they are for the Comfort Inn. I can not submit review without filling out all.

Fazoli's was near by, and was pleasant, we stayed and talked for a long time with family and we never felt like they were tryiing to rush us out.

Great price, average hotel
The Jameson was offered at a great price and you get what you pay for. While the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, they just couldn't make up for the cheap bath linens, uncomfortable pillows and musty shower. We love'd the proximity to restaurants and the interstate, but will probably choose a more well known chain next time in hopes of better amenities

Good Value
Very nice accommodations with everything that a hotel should have. The free breakfast bar had eggs, sausage, bisquits, gravy, waffle maker, cereal, fruit, juice, coffee, etc. The staff was very friendly and efficient. My only complaint would be the garbage truck that showed up at 5:45 a.m. beep, beep, bang, bang, beep, beep.

Nice Irish pub on Main Street in Richmond. 40 beers on tap and live entertainment after 9 p.m.

Great Sop Over Traveling I-75
We stayed at the Jameson Inn in Richmond Kentucky over Labor Day on our way south for a long family holiday weekend. The Jameson Inn was halfway along our trip and a good place to stop for the evening on I-75. It's fairy new. The staff was very friendly. The room rate was also good. The breakfast was average. The only downside is that the rooms are a little smaller. We had 2 adults and 2 children in one room with 2 double beds and it was a little cramped.
