great eku location close to everything
check in quick, very nice lady who made me feel right at home..she made sure she put us away from a teen group staying there (they were not rowdy at all).. nice king suite..good temp controls, comfy bed..shower hot...great full breakfast with egss, bacon, biscuits and gravy. the ladies who ran the buffett were full of charm and sweet, def will be staying there again....felt safe....for the money, this place cant be beat...

past the university, next to the kroger plaza is sonnys barbq..always a great eating spot..good quantity..great prices...gotta try the corn nuggets!!!

After 800+ miles in our day...
We found our hotel. We had booked our reservation, so knew where we were headed but had never been there before. Coming from Lakeville, Minn this day, we had been in our truck for 14 hours. Ready for our beds! The outside of the building was a little scarey...it's an old building. The hallways seemed a little old, but our room was spotless!!! While the ceilings in the bathroom could use a fresh coat of paint, we had the best shower head (for pressure) that we've ever had!!! Our kingsized bed was very comfortable and higher from the floor than we've ever had in a hotel. It was MUCH like our bed at home!!! Also, we were headed for Cracker Barrell for breakfast, but one look at the breakfast offered by our hotel changed our minds. The biscuits and gravy, eggs and waffles, juices, milk and WONDERFUL coffee...served by a great woman with a wonderful good morning smile....Brenda I think her name is...oh yes...we'll be back!!! :)

Pleasant Surprise For The Price
Located right off I-75 and near a mall and a host of restaurants. Room was average and just this side of clean. Dated decor and the HVAC cover kept falling off the unit which was however quiet and efficient. Great selection of TV channels and while they could have went a little lighter with the chlorine the indoor pool was huge and hot tub was pleasant. Plus was the hot breakfast buffet which included all the ususal fair plus bacon, biscuits and gravy, and eggs that looked like the plastic ones you get with a toy food set however what was good was good!

The staff at this hotel is to be commended. I arrived at the hotel well before check in time, after traveling many hours. Without hesitation a room was confirmed and assigned. Very friendly staff. The room was just as I expected. I'll stay here again.

Visiting College Daughter
We stayed to visit our daughter at EKU. Very convenient to the school, highway, restaurants. Staff was friendly, room was clean. Stayed at a different hotel the previous visit and that was not pleasant.

This was your absolute average room. Not good for much but sleeping. Luckily that's really all we needed it for. The room and halls seemed dirty and had a very strange moldy/mildewing/musky scent. I'm not really sure how else to describe it, but it wasn't a good smell. Over all I don't really think i would stay here again.

The first Best Western you see when you get off of the highway is the one your trying to get to. We saw the hotel, but our GPS told us to go another 4 miles and then brought us into the parking lot of a car lot. I'm not sure why, but everywhere we tried to get to around the hotel the GPS was wrong and that has never happened to us before.

Comfortable hotel
There was a delay checking in due to the hotel's not receiving the necessary paperwork from [...]. The hotel clerk found our names in the computer, but without the necessary information, they could not process our reservation.
