We Just wanted a quiet, safe, clean and an easy I-24 access place to stay. Pear Tree Inn was quiet, clean and we had a good night's sleep. Plan to stay there again.

Teaching Trip
Pear Tree Inn is just off of the Expressway, in the middle of numerous restaurants and shopping centers. The room was clean and comfortable. Air control on the wall made the temperature easy to maintain. A great value for the accommodations.

Mediocre but cheaper than most
The hotel was in need of an update and the standard of clean was lower than I like. Didn't get a chance to use the pool or the internet. I forgot to check ahead of time and see if there was a fridge in the room, and there was not. Staff was great, check-in was super easy, breakfast was nice. Location was great! Air conditioner was very noisy but we kept it running to drown out outside noises. No elevator! Inside access to rooms always makes me feel safer. The stairwell door required key access from the lobby.

Short drive from hotel
Paducah is a really nice town with a great history. The downtown river front area has really been refurbished and the murals on the retaining wall are really cool. Quilt museum is pretty famous although, I've never been there.

The Pear Tree Inn is a good place to be heading to after a long day - either on the road or in meetings. The facilties pulls you in to the comfort of the peace and quiet on the inside of the facility. The beds are great, the rooms are quiet and the staff is non obtrusive. What more do you want in a hotel?

Short walk from hotel
There at least 5 full service restaurants within a short walk (like a block maybe) of the hotel. I chose the Texas Road House - food was good, atmosphere about what you should expect - a little on the roudy side - but still family rated.
