Not what I had hoped for
The hotel location was in a rough area, the staff seemed bored, & the room wasnt as clean as it should have been. The ice machine wasnt on the same floor....won't be staying here again...

Happy Couple
Pretty Pleased
I was pleased with this hotel, it was large and clean. I loved that the whirlpool tub was actually in the bathroom so you didn't have to worry about getting the carpet in the bedroom area wet as in most hotels. The drain in the tub however was very slow emptying unless you held it down. I did accidentally book a smoking room but the smoke was not a problem until the next morning when we got ready to leave the entire hall smelled of smoke. Since the room I got was a smoking room it was on the other side of the building in the back, the only problem I really had was that the back door led no where. When you went out the door you had to walk out into the area where the cars pull around the building to walk around to where you parked which was a little odd and unconventional. Overall, I was pretty pleased with this hotel.

Vacation
The room was fine but the coffee maker didn't work and there was a small hole in the tub.The bedding sheets were cheap and not tucked in tightly. The service was ok [...].I was in this area last year at another motel and I felt more welcomed at that one than I did at this one.I paid more for this motel for the whirlpool but I have been better off at the motel that I went to last year because of the welcome feeling,lower price and hospitality.

Short drive from hotel
Go to the Harrah's Casino for the best for hospitality, and price. Awesome food that you will go back for even if you are full. The people are the best and helpful(in the dictionary next to helpful would be the staff at Harrah's Casino in Metropolis,IL).
