dissappointed with courtyard
we stayed at the courtyard owensboro for my step-daughters highschool graduation. we were very dissappointed. the staff was not friendly, there was nothing complimentary, you had to buy all food from the bistro (over-priced). this hotel apparently caters to kids, which would be fine if there were rules. the kids ran around freely and unsupervised inside and out (loudly) and made alot of messes that were not cleaned up! the cleaning service there is not good at all and this is a new hotel. we were there for 2 nights and the garbage cans everywhere were full and never emptied. the carpets in the lobby, hallways and elevators had the same stuff on them when we left, as they did when we arrived ,plus more. our room was never dusted nor the garbage in there emptied either. we would not stay here again, could have stayed at a cheap hotel and had the same quality of service.

Dining tip:
Long walk from hotel
lots of restaurants in the area, a couple you could walk too, if you really wanted some exercise. the rest were close by car and alot to choose from. would not recommend the hotels bistro, too overpriced.
