Days Inn Mayfield

How many things can I list! Breakfast definetly wasn't a hot it was barely there! Room was filthy. Sheets were to small for bed and keep coming off. No iron, coffee maker Etc. Curling iron and hair dryer wouldn't stay in outlet. Needs to be comdemned!

A one night stay. Quiet enviroment and clean room. Sometimes that's all you need!

Room was pretty standard. Mattress was horrible. Breakfast was a joke.

We stayed a total of three nights. The nicest thing we can say is they got the location right. There was no waste basket in the room when we arrived, and one never appeared. The hair dryer was missing and the coffee pot didn't work; neither was rectified. The Complimentary Deluxe Continental Breakfast....consisted of a waffle maker, FrootLoops and on two of the three morning fresh coffee - at 9:30 Sunday, as we were leaving, all four pots were dry. Most Days Inns are excellent places when we just need a sleeping base; this one definitely isn't.

Traveling to visit family. The hotel has gone down hill in the last few years. Not as clean or in good repair. Previous stays at the hotel was a lot better.

I was in town for a wedding. The hotel was convient but was lacking in many areas. The shower was very short. The pillows were small on a king size bed. It didn't seem very clean but did serve as a place to sleep and get ready for the event.

I'm not normally one to make complaints, but my stay here deserves one. There were several dead and dried out bugs smashed against the wall or laying on the bathroom floor, the bed was hard, I had to get my keycard changed three times before getting one that worked, the maintenance guy walked in unannounced not 5 minutes after I got inside my room, the breakfast was mediocre even for a hotel breakfast bar... Needless to say, I will not be staying here again.

We attended the quilt show in Paducah. The hotel was the worse I've ever stayed in on this continent. Wallpaper was coming off the walls; there was rust all over the door and wall around the door hinges; the carpet was shredding; the shower tiles where coming off the wall and repairs were very sloppy; there were cracks in the ceiling. The sheets were very thin that you could see through them. The drapes were coming off the rods. The breakfast room off the lobby was disorganized...the directions for the waffle maker were on the juice machine rather than by the waffle maker, had to ask for plates and hot water. I would never recommend this particular Days Inn or any other Days Inn for that matter. We asked about local restaurants and the on-duty manager sent us to a restaurant that was disgusting and so smoky that my asthma acted up. We had to find restaurants on our own in an area that we knew nothing about.

Could tell that someone had been smoking in the non-smoking room. There is only 2 choices in Mayfield the other Hotel is worse.

Days Inn, Mayfield, wss recommended for convenience to family in the city by a family member. Other family members stayed at the same place. We were pleased to see there was a pool, although we did not take advantage of it on this visit. Beds were clean, comfortable. Bathroom furnished with adequate linens, Room was very cool when we first arrived but easily controlled at unit. Only complaint was the water marks in the ceiling due to a roof leakage. Continental breakfast was good although milk was gone by the time we got there. (A larger group was also visiting just before us.)Pleased with the room arrangement. Very reasonably priced.
