Best Hotel Experience in Louisville!
Newly Engaged Oct 4, 2009
A wonderful experience! We felt like we had the A-list treatment at a classic 1920s or 30s hotel! Not quite as centrally ... located as the more modern hotels attached to the conference center, but it is also lively and not sterile! The staff was great, and provided us with complimentary toiletries. If dressed formally, you may want to drive to the restaurants downtown (you could also use the classy restaurant in the hotel, though it's clientel was a bit old for us).

The parking garage charges $16.00 for stays of 8-24 hours, but if you validate with the hotel, you pay $18.00 and can come and go as you wish!

Beautiful old hotel in a downtown area
Leo Sep 8, 2009
The Brown was a beautiful hotel. Throughout the interior were detailed carved wooden furniture pieces that added a lot of ... character to the place. The staff was very polite and professional and the rooms were well maintained, if a bit small (common for a hotel this age).
