Good Location for Us
Great location for us since we were at the Expo Center. It says it's within walking distance to ChurchHill Downs. It would be about a 1 1/2 mile or more walk. Spend the $5-10 for parking at the races. No rooms have refrig or microwave. We called for a wake up call for 6 mornings. 1 of the 6 was on time, 1 was an hour later, 4 never came through so set another alarm if it's a MUST to get up. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean, bed was firm for me but hubby & sister said was good for them. Smoke detector wasn't attached

Super 8? LOL
Wireless signal didn't exist. Toilet was dirty. Spotty cable when the satelite finally worked for the place.

Weary traveler
Disorganized and noisy
When we arrived all the lights were unplugged. This took us forever to discover. we just thought none of them worked. There was no towels or washcloths, very few cable channels and it was noisy all night. People slamming doors, yelling in the hall, etc. We were going to leave a wake up call and couldnt find the phone. When we went to the desk to complain we were given a key to go "raid" another room for the things ours was missing. We were told that people take things home with them! It made for a long night at a price that was not cheap ($ 78.00)

kinda "super 8"
did not get the handicapped room requested. had to have smoking room. room was not clean when we arrived and they moved us to a room already taken and then moved us back to where we were. we had to wait (in room) for maid service to clean room. maids could not spoke English at all. We could not explain anything to them. the desk was out of wired cables for computer, so we had to stay down in lobby to be on internet.

Great U of L and Churchill Quality..BUT
Great location for University of Louisville and the Churchill Downs race track,as well as a new shop and restaurant area bye the bridge.The bed is comfortable and the A/C is good....The HOT hallways and elevator where there is zero circulation is poor.Transportat'n to and from the airport is free.Just a $2 tip is good You will need a DIFFERENT location to see the city, the zoo + the popular avenue of shops and rest'rnts.

good cont. breakfast A lot of variety the room was fine pillows hard no channels selection on tv no ice mach on my floor front desk had no change for soda vending mach. had to walk to gas station for bottled water and soda

QUIET AND FRIENDLY LOCATION
The Super8 motel was very comfortable, the room seemed much larger than most with a desk area and a table and two chairs. I liked the fact that the bathroom was separate from the vanity area and there was a sink with a long counter and there was adequate space for hanging clothes and they provided two suitcase stands. The location was very good and near the expressway.
