Suburban Extended Stay Hotel East

Wouldn't stay there if I had any other options the room was very smokeys but when no other rooms are availible it is a decent place you are close to Church Hill and Bardstown road, and the staff was very friendly.

No Soap and only 1 towel each for the week

I spent just one night in this hotel and while it was quiet, in a fine location, and the service was great, the non-smoking room I reserved smelled like someone just finished smoking before I opened the door. This was true of another Louisville hotel and the car I rented too, however, so maybe it's just the city. The room was small and the bathroom had no place to put your 'stuff.' Fine for one night, but that may be about it.

We stayed here to attend a conference in Louisville. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Check-in and check-out was quick and easy. laundry room on site. It was nice having a fridge and microwave, we never used the stove-top. We brought our laptop and the wireless internet there worked great. It's hard to complain because the price was so great, but there were a few things that could have made our stay better. There are not irons or hairdryers in the rooms. The walls are pretty thin. Also, house keeping only comes once a week so if you're staying less than a week there will be no housekeeping, and you can only exchange towels once a week also or you have to pay two dollars for each towel you exchange. Overall it was a good stay! And a great value.

It was very basic. No breakfast, a coffee maker but no coffee. The bed was OK. The front desk was friendly.

There were dead maggots on my mattress beneath the bedsheets. There were finger or toenail clippings all over the carpet. There were cobwebs hanging from the ceiling. There was no one on duty for me to call regarding all of this, as their office closed at 11pm and I arrived after 11pm. There was no emergency # to contact anyone at regarding this. I had driven almost 900 miles to get to Louisville, and I was able to get assistance from no one[...]. I got a foreigner in another country who left me on hold for over a half hour when I asked for a manager. I got another foreigner in another country when I called back. All she did was 'take note' of my 'dissatisfaction' with my accommodations. I went online and found another hotel for the same price that I knew was decent. [...]

We needed an inexpensive overnight stay without frills - went to a Marine Corps Birthday Ball- we had stayed in other hotels in the area and the rooms here were less than half the price we normally paid - the room was small, but met our requirements (a place to change and sleep)- the shower had extremely low pressure (felt like standing under a garden sprinkler can with a narrow width)otherwise we had no complaints at all! We will stay here again in the future and would recommend it to anyone looking for minimual space and cost.

Great location for my shopping and golf tourney experience. nearby restaurants of quality. Will return soon.

We stopped in at this hotel for a night on our way back to Michigan from Indiana since we had friends right on the way. It was more a convenience thing than anything else. The hotel staff was very nice as were some of the long-term customers there. But the room was very untidy. One of the chairs had all sorts of stains on it that I don't EVEN want to guess at what they were, and the bathroom was coming apart in places. The kitchen area was nice and clean though. The only other problem was the beds. TOTALLY uncomfortable in every way. I think we would have been happier on the floor.

[...], the desk clerk, was very friendly and cheerful. He had everything ready for my check in so it took all of 1 minute to complete. The facility was clean and well lit. The room was also clean with a comfy bed, soft pillows and spotless bathroom. I'd definitely stay here again!!
