Affordable, recently renovated hotel two miles from downtown Louisville
The Ramada Downtown North Louisville Kentucky is just minutes from Kentucky International Convention Center, Louisville Soccer Club, Six Flags, and other popular attractions. The hotel was renovated in 2009 and offers clean, comfortable guest rooms with free high-speed Internet service. Low Maintenance Girls
The staff was top notch, the rooms smelled of smoke and were not that clean. Also we went during Kentucky Derby weekend and wanted to utilize their shuttle, which conveniently broke down.

Derby Dave
Not what I expected
Motel is advertised as downtown location but its not downtown at all. If your going to the Derby don't use their shuttle service because its one way to Churchill Downs only. Your on your own to get back. That's fine if they told you that up front but they didn't . I asked the shuttle driver about the return trip and he said to just call the front desk when I was ready to return. When I called the front desk to get picked up that's when they informed me that I was on my own to get back. If I'd known in advance I would have just driven my rental car to the Derby parking areas myself. Morning breakfast is below average. They don't have anything that is hot except waffles and the syrup is not the small individual packets its a large jug that everyone's shares. They have a good Mexican restaurant there with good service and good food and bar. The staff did a good job but owners and management good do some proper renovations instead of patchwork repairs that they are currently doing. Overall I would not recommend this motel as a good value.

Decent Hotel
The rooms, service, etc, were great, and the price can't be beat. The other tenants kind of sketched me out a little bit, though - I heard a bunch of yelling and slamming two of the nights I stayed there and laid awake wondering if I should be calling the cops or something.

Fair
While an ok stay for $50, the rooms are a little beat up. 1 of our beds was not made and only 1/2 of the towels replaced

Good Deal If You Accept Limitations
Clean rooms and responsive staff. Needs remodeling to update electrical access and lighting. Somewhat noisy due to thin walls. Free breakfast okay, needs better microwave. Shower flow good, sink ok. Needs grab bars for shower for older customers.

no airport shuttle
The hotel was ok. At the end I was missing a shuttle to the airport. The cab cost me 30$. For that increase of price I could have chosen a hotel downton.

Eagle Valley Traveler
Good location, good value
In town for business with wife. Zorn avenue location is convienent to both downtown and east end locations. Staff was very friendly, room was clean and comfotable, although the beds were a little too firm for our liking. Overall a good choice.
