Ramada Louisville Downtown North

The room was mediocre, not great but I guess it could have been worse. The tv remote was like one I had never seen before. It broke on the first day and when I went to the front desk to get another i was told maintaince had to bring it to the room. After getting the new remote it mysteriously came up missing after housekeeping came to the room the next day. The toilet broke on the 3rd day of the stay and I had to use the bathroom in the lobby for the remainder of my stay. The nicest part of the hotel is the lobby area. The pictures are misleading. I would not recommend this hotel. Spend a little more and stay somewhere more modern and comfortable if you are staying for more than a couple days.

We had a good stay at hotel, although hotel was close to express way it was not noisy. But break fast was not good.

We did not know this was a motel with external entrances and no elevators -- lugging the bags upstairs in the rain was no fun. Rooms are standard, but were clean. Maids were helpful. Cont'l breakfast was minimal. Was lower (not low) cost option for event we attended as many other hotels had sky high rates.

I did not realize that all the doors were on the outside of the hotel nor did it not have an elevator & when you have a grandma & kid with you trying to climb stairs is no fun but for no longer than we were there, it was fine. It was not far from the competition.

The hotel wasn't anything extraordinary but my boyfriend and I just needed a room for the weekend for a conference in Louisville. The location wasn't the greatest but we made due. The breakfast in the morning was better than expected, 2 belgium waffle machines were a great touch! The only negative thing I can think of was that an alarm in a vacant room nearby went off at 7am every morning and did not stop, really annoying. Other than that it was a decent stay, nothing special but it was suficient for our needs.

HAD A GREAT TIME. WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN. GOT A GREAT POOL.

Now was not expecting the Ritz for this price. The location was ideal for our plans, but the staff really REALLY left something to be desired. The front desk staff was rude about my dog, even though they were advertised as pet friendly and after I asked for a late check-out, the cleaning staff still tried to come in...three times, even though we still had the Do Not Disturb sign on. Not very cool

I had to go to Louisville for a family emergency. This hotel is nothing special at all, but it is clean, close to the expressway, has a restaurant and business center, and staffed with friendly people. I will say that there were tons of families staying there. The kids were well behaved - but I could hear them in the pool having a great time from my hotel room. So if you need to go to Louisville on a budget, this may be on option.
