Not Good

I had requested a non-smoking room but by the time I got there after numerous flight delays and cancellations, there were no other rooms. I was to arrive a Wednesday evening but did not make it there until Thursday, thankfully I had my office call to notify them of my wonderful delays & then cancellations, the hotel staff said good thing you called, as we were going to re-book the room....I had already pre-paid through Sunday morning....would I stay here again...NOOOOOO!!!! It is located in a very bad part of town....drug deals going down....DON'T walk to the drug store, I did & the clerk told me not to do that again!! As I was in the Getto...his words not mine

a day at the track

I brought my son to Churchill Downs from St. Louis for a father/son getaway. The location of the hotel was very convenient in relation to the track and to the highway. The hotel was clean, the breakfast was adequate, and the staff was helpful and friendly. The only issue I had was that the pool was almost too cold to enjoy.

Definitely not worth the $

The hotel had a funny smell throughout and a musky smell in the bathroom. The furniture was old and the bathrooms needed some major updating. The walls are very thin as well as the ceiling, you could hear every step above the room. We were on the 1st floor. I guess you get what you pay for. We will not be staying at a Quality Inn again.

chemically yours

Can a hotel room be too clean? Probably not. Can it smell like an assortment of harsh chemicals had been recently dumped there? Yes. Despite running fan and air conditioning, those smells were too much for me. But aside from that, the staff was great, the public transportation too infrequent, and the fish fry around the corner a local treasure.

Great trip to Louisville!

The hotel staff was most helpful. Nice clean breakfast room and plenty of food. Jetted tub was great! It was a little tricky to find at first but once we figured it out no problems after that.

Simple & Inexpensive

Stayed in hotel while on business in the area. The hotel, although inexpensive, was actually better than I expected. The free breakfast combined with clean, comfortable rooms was very refreshing compared to hotels that I've stayed at around the country at a similar price point.

University of Louisville is close so this college town holds a few "dive bars" that are actually quite good. One bar in particular called "Shooters" served the best burger I've ever had in a bar (the Aztec Burger). It was a very nice setting with outdoor patio and friendly bartenders. Check out

Room was very nice. AA little dusty (I have allergies) but doable. I would stay there again as it was comfortable.
