Microtel Inn by Wyndham Louisville East

we went to louisville for the thunder over louisville celebration. the only thing missing was the sunshine. the hotel was great. very clean and polite. last year we stayed at a days inn and it was a dump and very noisy, for the same price. we will be booking this hotel next time we are in louisville.

Room was smaller than expected but we were not in it much so it didn't matter. Sure could of used a small refrigerator but not sure where one could be put. Did I mention the room was very small.

We checked in very late and left early the next morning but we super pleased with the location. Easy to get to. The room was small but cozy. The bathroom and beds were average but for the price they were what I expected. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Speedy check-in and check-out. We didn't visit the complementary breakfast, but there were multiple places to eat within walking distance. The McDonald's next door was nice, seemed to be newly remodeled. I was super worried that we were checking into a roach hotel considering the price we paid, and past experiences. Not the case here! We would definitely stay again next year!

This hotel was a very nice place to stay for a conference I attended. It was convenient, friendly and perfectly adequate. I was a little surprised that the room was smaller than average (I travel plenty) but it was perfectly adequate for my needs. The coffee was good and plentiful and the breakfast met my needs as well (raisin bran cereal is all I needed, with milk.) If going back to Louisville, I'd stay there again.

This hotel came exactly as described and gets 5 stars for that. We stayed for 2 nights and were very pleased. Clean rooms, great service, easy location to find. The staff is exceptional and knows the area well. We expected itty-bitty rooms, but they were the same size as other hotels in the 2-3 star range, but this room had a huge king bed in it vs the tiny "double" bed that other places have. The bed was a little firm and the water pressure seemed light, but those are just picky preferences that I have.

My sister and I took a trip to louisville for a getaway. We had a great time. This hotel was a great value and price. The rooms were cozy and clean. The service was excellent. Parking and entrances good. There was not any shopping super close but some restaurants. It was close to city but not in the city limits. Great for a getaway!

Easy access fron interstate 64

This was our second stay at this particular Microtel. On both occasions we stayed here for a friend's wedding. This time, we booked with several friends, and we were really pleased that although we booked separately, we were able to be put right next to each other! Although the rooms were small, we loved the little daybed/reading nook. The hotel and rooms were VERY clean, and the breakfast was good as well. We weren't planning on some huge room, we just needed a nice place to come to after a long day of wedding activities. The wedding was in a more rural area between Louisville and Mt. Washington, and the hotel was really easy to get to from there. There's also a lot of restaurants around.
