Microtel Inn by Wyndham Louisville East

Room was extremely clean. Staff was really friendly. Would stay again at this hotel. Priced reasonable. Very pleased with stay.

The hotel was well maintained. The staff was polite and available. I left a day early and just wonder if I can get a refund. The hotel was convenient to the thruway and to many restaurants and shopping. My first time in Louisville was made more enjoyable because I had a clean place to stay.

Whenever my husband and I go on short trips, a hotel is just a place where we sleep, so we're not looking for amenities (that we never use). I'd rather spend the money on other aspects of a trip. We sometimes take our tent to the nearest KOA, but on rainy weekends, We just want a clean room and comfy bed at a great price. The Microtel in East Louisville was perfect for us on this trip. Price with discounts was about $50/night. We stayed one night in a non smoking room. * Location was great - it was near the highway, which made Louisville very accessible. There's plenty of dining and shopping at this exit too. * Staff was friendly * The room was a little stuffy at first but we opened the window and turned the air conditioning on, which solved that problem. * The room and bathroom were clean. * There was a hair dryer * The bed was pretty comfy - I didn't care for the pillows, but that's a preference thing... My husband loved them. * Free breakfast included muffins, bagels, oat meal, cereal, yogurt, and fruit. Coffee, tea, juice, and milk to drink. Overall, we got exactly what we paid for, which is exactly what we wanted (no frills) and were very happy. It was a great value, I would stay there again, and recommend it for others just looking for a place to lay their heads.

Was just a place to stay for the IM Louisville. Much cheaper than downtown hotels and not too far away as long as you don't mind driving 15-20min.

Small, but clean and sufficient for a quick one night stay. Beds are comfortable. Several restaurants nearby. Easy access to interstate. Was able to take my dog on this trip since they allow over 10 lb dogs. This was one of my biggest reasons for choosing this hotel in the first place. Glad I did!

This was by no means a fancy hotel, but we don't need fancy. This was a GREAT value. The continental breakfast was adequate, although I personally would have liked a banana instead of apples. There was hot coffee available 24 hours a day, (regular & decaf). Staff was efficient, with needed things getting done seemingly by magic. You seldom saw someone doing various chores (vacuuming the lobby, making coffee, etc., but somehow, it was always done. We were in town for a short getaway. The desk clerks were very helpful with suggestions for sight seeing. The bed was comfortable; in room air conditioning with your own controls was very comfortable. The room was somewhat small, but adequate. All in all, I highly recommend this to anyone.

Everything was very clean, easy to access, and the price was good. Near a lot of places to eat, get gas cheaply, shop, etc. Loved the linens on the bed (no heavy, cheap comforter on top-- give me cotton any day). However, the mattress was really firm and hard making my back hurt in the morning. Perhaps a memory foam mattress topper would help. Also, it would be kind of nice to have a recliner of some sort in the room. Just my opinion. All that said, I highly recommend this place to stay!

I thought it was a nice place for just a place to lay your head and at a reasonable rate.

Overall we had a great experience at the hotel. The location was right off 64, with easy access to everything we wanted.

Small but comfortable room. For the price I can not complain. CLean and near restaurants.
