Galt House, the largest hotel in Kentucky, is conveniently located in the heart of downtown Louisville. - The Conservatory, which spans Fourth Street and links the hotel's East and West Towers, is now complete. This impressive glass-domed structure is a unique and sociable meeting place. Love Louisville
Everything in one place
Very nice place, unbeatable view, one of the top bourbon bars in the world, great restaurants, close to everything. Neighbors a little noisy at early hours and the room cleaning was a bit spotty.

Cyclocross World Championship race
I joined my bicycling husband who participated in this world championship race. The hotel was 3 miles, easy walk from the venue. Everything was great from the beds, cleaning service, staff, to the breakfast, bar, and gym. My only complaint was how slow the elevators were. I definitely got some unintended workouts through stair climbs!

Great stay
Staff was extremely helpful. Great location, wonderful bar area. Rooms are a little on the old side but nicely updated. Very pleasant stay, would stay again, espescially if I get the deal I got this time.

Giant complex with plenty of space and restaurants. Live fish in the bar; nice. However, room had issues: - Internet was too slow to stream any videos or do any serious work. - Cold water came out HOT every time it was turned on (too close to hot water system??) so I had to bleed the cold every time. - Room was a 2.5-3 on the cleanly-o-meter and needs an update.

We had a suite in the East Tower for our stay over Christmas. The room and room service were great, the only thing, I think it might be time to replace the couch that makes into a bed. The mattress was very thin and extremely uncomfortable for a 3 night stay. Might consider replacing them.
