Fern Valley Hotel & Conference Center

Nice & Quiet. Not too many people, not overcrowded. Pool closes too early. Most, if not all, of the vending machines have been removed.

very clean and at a nice price. We would recommend this hotel to all our friends

We were in Louisville for Breeders Cup, and this location was great! The hotel was nothing special, but clean and adequate. It was great having a bar and restaurant at the hotel, friendly with good prices and decent food.

The room rates were great for a last minute trip to the Louisville, Southern Indiana area. However, upon arriving to room, our [...]reservations were nowhere to be found. The Rooms were ok, but were adjoining rooms, and we needed maintenance assistance to open the connecting door, as well as to replace the bathroom light. Shower curtain in our room did show signs of mold/mildew, or just filth. Luckily it was on curved rod, so it was not an issue of having to try and shower without touching it.WiFI connection was almost non existent, very very slow... kids could not even access sites on internet until very late in the night. If this is advertised, it should be at least at a functional speed.Again, for what we paid, it was not too unacceptable, but if I'd paid full rate for these rooms/services, I would be even unhappier guest.Carpeting in the pool area is actually dangerously loose. I tripped everytime on way to and from the pool area. There actually is one area the carpet is ripped lose. Kids loved the pool of course.

Stay was pleasant with friendly staff. Needed better selection of channels and tv update.

While I was in Louisville Ky I attended a business meeting and found that the location was convenance. There are multiple restaurants near by and the airport is just down the street.

We stayed for a business conf. Even though they advertise a free shuttle dont count on it because they refused to shuttle us to our conf facility less than 2 miles away. For the money you really cant expect much, but the staff was less than courteous.

I stayed here for the Mid America Trucking Show. It's not far at all from the Kentucky Expo center and everything we needed to do was close. 15-30 minute drive from distilleries to tour. Hotel wasn't perfect but was good enough for me. A little overpriced for what it was but the room had a balcony overlooking the pool, which was pretty nice though.

Purchased 2 nights through [...], 2/18-2/20 for KY National Farm Machinery Show. We are not the type that requires the best of the best, just clean. There was black mold in bathroom on ceiling, bathroom exhaust fan did not work, black mold around windows, TV remote did not work, only 1 pillow per person allowed, unless you gripe- seriously! Front desk staff RUDE!! Pool area was very nice, however there were 3 child birthday parties, which meant not appropriate for adults to mingle, Holliday Inn information still on room doors - that's professional! NOT! I checked out the reviews before I booked and thought ahhh it can't be that bad.....YES IT IS!!!

We went to the Breeders Cup. Have a great time. The hotel provided us transportation to and from. It was great so we did not have to drive. I would recommend this hotel for your stay.
