A smart place to stay when visiting the University of Louisville
The Days Inn Central is conveniently located off Interstate 65, in the heart of historic old Louisville. This recently renovated economy hotel is minutes from the University of Louisville and near major downtown attractions. Great breakfast....scary environment.
The location is literally right off of 65 South. No food around the hotel so you'll have to drive for that. The location is very sketchy....not the best neighborhood. Staff was friendly. Room had an odd odor...almost like smoke. Very clean though. Light for the sink/mirror never really worked right. Hotel is just outdated. For the money it's what you would expect. However, stay at your own risk. Seen plenty of shady folks. Great breakfast though...you can't get any better for free! Biscuits and gravy...waffles....it's not too bad! Couldn't get into room until almost 4 pm!

don't do it
There were people partying until all hours of the night and the management did nothing about it in spite of numerous complaints by many clients. We had to leave a day early so we could get some sleep somewhere else. The pool was OK, but the furniture around it was rusty. There was what looked like dried bacon on the floor of our room.

worst experience I've ever had
This was by far the worst hotel experience I've ever had, and unfortunately it was the first experience, and probably the last I've had with [...].The hotel didn't have a refrigerator in the room as per the room description, no remote control for the TV, excessive noise which kept me awake all night[...]

IT WAS THE WORST HOTEL EVER!!!!!
We checked in went to the room dropped off luggage went to an event. Came back to room and could not stand to stay in a place where you could see under and on the side of the door. The shower as so discusting, it was black, caulk none, the beds were aweful. I would not recommend anyone to stay there. We checked out and went to the Merriot down town. Worth the money.

An Experience
The Inn's ice machine was not working, the noise level was great and the bathroom toilet backed up. Excess to the hotel was not good.

Ghetto Ghetto
The rooms look nothing like the pictures.. The housekeepers wore regular clothes.. the towels were scratchy, its right near the expressway, and loud. I will never stay there again......

Louisville KY
I told myself that Id never stay here again. Im a fool and looked at the price and it changed my mind. Dear God please help me learn that some things are worth the money. This one is STILL dirty, the people are rude, and the bed was new in 1962.

Not great
The hotel was easy to get to, but was a lot older than the pictures of it made it appear. The room was small and musty smelling. There wasn't a microwave or refrigerator in the room and the coffee pot didn't work. The air conditioner was loud and you either froze or were too hot. The area was loud. There was always noise coming from the parking lot and around the room at all hours. I will not be staying at this hotel again and would not recommend it to anyone.
