Days Inn Hurstbourne

Went to my daughter's wedding. The room was very nice.

The staff was very friendly and the room was comfortable. The selection for the breakfast wasn't great and the whole hotel smelled like smoke outside of our non-smoking room.

Day one- Checked in and found the pool closed. Would be nice to have a pool on hot days. Hot tub was also closed. Would be nice to relax in a hot tub after a long deay. Day two- got up and wanted a cup of coffe after showering. Coffee pot would not work. Breakfastconsisted of cereal, toast, juice, coffee, and junk food. Upon returning to my room in the afternoon I found my room door open and I had a hard time closing it. Day three- Got up and had breakfast. Went to a meeting and came back tomy room for a rest. When I got ready to go to a banquet I once again had trouble closing the room door. Ireturned to my room at 10:00 P.M., Packed up my car and came home. I would like to say that the staff was very pleasant and provided a new coffee pot for the rest of my stay and they also assisted me in closing my room door.

The purpose of my trip was to visit my daughter who had just had our first grandson. I fould the room clean and comfortable in a quiet neighborhood and close to everything I needed. The hallways, breakfast area and lobby where hot and humid and found it uncomfortable to stay outside my room for long. My daugher and grand-daugher enjoyed the pool. Overall the stay there provided the purpose for overnight stay and at a reasonable price. I would stay here again.

This was a good hotel for the price. The room was clean and the water was hot. The only bad thing was that the bathroom sink had problems shutting off, but this wasn't a serious problem. We were just passing through for one night, but it was very near an IHOP and a Starbucks. We didn't have time to use the pool,jacuzzi, or breakfast, but it was nice that the hotel had these available. The guy behind the front desk was a little nosy/creepy.

Staff was semi-reluctant to satisfy guests issues . One example .Room service removed my drink from the refrigerator and room.When I addressed the issue to staff it was ignored.Another example,my sister purchased a bad soft drink from the vending dispenser Staff refunded the money but again very slow and highly resistant to do so.

Hotel was okay. Breakfast was high carb and sugar, halls were very warm, but airconditioning was great in the rooms. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent location for where we were going.

Manager was great about fixing my remote control. Breakfast was very lame.

The location was expected but the room wasn't clean. There was long black hairs in the bathroom floor but I have long blonde hair. Also the room had ants. We realize the room was at a very good rate but didn't expect a dirty room. We have a 2 year old and his feet got dirty from walking on the carpet and I then checked mine and they were dirty also. We do plan another trip in 4 months and would like to know if you have suggestions on a room with a good rate and also clean. Thanks

The rooms could of used a cleanning.. But for the most part it was fine. Needed an air freshner (smelled like a stale cigarette) deffinately, burn holes in the bed spread,we had a non- smoking room. Late nite guy was eh, and the other guy I never talked to. Their walls had silly string on them in our room... so a better cleaning staff indeed.. But location was great, price was right, and it was quiet at night.. Free wifi was a bonus too...
