Crowne Plaza LOUISVILLE AIRPORT EXPO CTR

I was not impressed with this hotel. It was average at best, and the mattresses were not as comfortable as Holiday Inn Express. Sleep comfort as well as cleanliness are my top two priorities when selecting a hotel.

Rooms without fridge or microwave, hd tv set without hd channels and all ports disabled (I can't connect my son xbox to the tv#. Internet connection is a mess with multiple routers available but usually fails to connect #you need to try multiples times). Really nice pool and safeguard on duty super nice person. Same for the cleaning crew, nice and efficient.

Staff are very friendly and efficient. Room is big, clean and there was a lighted portable magnifying mirror! No hotels I stayed before did not have the portable mirror. I liked four pillows per bed. A/C unit was little loud but was OK. I asked for extended stay till 2 pm next day and the Front desk staff was very kind and granted me this without any charge! When I asked for the direction to the concession store to the staff, she was kind enough to walk with me to the place! Chicken soup that I ordered as room service tasted little funny but Salmon with Asparagus I had for lunch was superb! Finally, when I asked for a ride to the airport after check out, driver showed up less than a minute! He was courteous and gave me a good feeling of this hotel. If I come to Louisville, I will stay there again and definitely recommend the hotel to anyone. Keep up your good work!

We stayed here for the location to the fairgrounds. Room was OK, but we could not use the fold out couch because the mattress was in AWFUL shape. The restaurant was also AWFUL. The staff did not seem to be properly trained and had NO sense of customer service. Every time we went to the bar, we had to almost wrestle a bartender to get service. They were woefully understaffed even though the hotel was full. Crown Plaza should be embarrassed to have this hotel under their name!!!

Great location to Church Hill Downs, Cardinal Stadium and across the street from the Fair Grounds!

Met with friends halfway for the weekend. T his hotel was in a great location! Very close to Church Hill Downs, Cardinal Stadium and other attractions! Fair grounds across the street as well. Great gift shop and restaurant inside hotel with great prices! Will come back again for sure! Ga, Au, Su and Cl

My stay was the result of an airline delay but the hotel was clean and well appointed - great shower and comfortable beds. The only negative comment is that I stayed on the first floor and could hear the piped in music in my room [ would have been nice if that was turned off say, after 10pm] and if I wanted any privacy I had to close the wooden shutters which then made the room VERY DARK. Bulbs in lamps next to bed were like reading to candle light - need to up the watts.

The facility was as expected. The staff was helpful.

We had a great stay. We didn't get a chance to use the pool or dine at the resturant, but our room and the bedding was really nice. We walked to the fair grounds which was nice didn't have to pay for parking. We had a great time at the Kentucky State Fair and really enjoyed The Def Leppard concert.
