Courtyard by Marriott Louisville Downtown

This hotel was located a few blocks from 4th street live, so it was easy to park your car in the garage and walk around. I visited the hotel when it was under a lot of construction, which took away from my overall hotel experience.

The location of the Marriott Courtyard in Downtown Louisville couldn't be better. Across the street from the new KFC YUM! Stadium and less than a block from all the new renovation of the old warehouse row where new restaurants and pubs are being built. In a couple years this will really be THE place to be!! That being said I hope that Marriott will take this opportunity to renovate this property so it will be up to the Marriott Courtyard standard I have come to expect. This one is getting a bit rough around the edges. I'm also wondering why I was awakened by Housekeeping banging on my door at 9AM on a Saturday morning when check out is at Noon? Nothing like getting shocked awake early when you planned to sleep in, to spoil a stay at a hotel. Get a clue Marriott. How hard would it be for Housekeeping to call down to the front desk for a list of rooms that you KNOW have already checked out and let them start with those rooms first before waking sleeping guests?????

We were compensated for our late arrival and not being able to find the parking lot. The desk clerk was friendly and we talked every time we arrived back from somewhere. We were there for the Fraternal Order of Eagles International convention. The hotel people were very friendly even though the city wasn't.

The staff there was very helpful and friendly. We didn't stay long as it was a resting point half way through a road trip, but we found it to be the perfect place to get some rest at a reasonable price.

Went to Louisville to see the museums and go to Fourth Street Live. Just a few blocks from everything. Super clean rooms. Easy to find. Bed was super comfy. We stayed at a Days Inn the night before and this room was a welcome upgrade - definitely worth the extra money!

I was there for two meetings and then stayed over for a visit with friends. I always stay at this Courtyard, if it's available. Location is perfect for my business, and service is great.

We got in relatively late. We only had the need for an evening, however, there is no late room service and had to order from outside. The delivery was made straigt to our room, don't know how comfortable should feel about that though.
